本次展览以“自然、文脉、艺术”为主题，并体现了西交利物浦大学设计学院建筑系的教学过程实验，通过三个主题的练习，寻找三者之间在形式或结构上的相似之处——即形式类比。
In the showcased processes, formal analogies are pursued from the common realms of ‘Nature’ (as the origin and model of human spatial orientation), ‘Context’ (as the original built form and structure of the social and historical process), and ‘Art’ (the manifestation of human intellect and the expression of its originality).

学生们在研究形式类比的同时，也在设计工作中使用了类比的过程。他们通过草图、手绘和手工模型等设计技巧，来进行分析、探索和表达自己的想法，并在这个过程中探知设计的组成部分、空间关系、转变和结构。他们交替使用不同的设计手法，这些方法也会互相启发，让设计过程变得随思考而动、随笔触显现。
By investigating formal analogies, the students also employ an analog process in their design work, which refers to the ‘craft’ in its basic forms: sketching, hand-drawing and hand-made models are the primary tools in the workflow of analysis, exploration and transmission of ideas. The process is a discovery of composition, spatial relationships, movement and structure, in which one tactile design technique immediately informs another, as they are used alternately in a non-linear sequence.

The exhibition opened on November 27th, with group of teachers and students. It will remain open to the public until January 5th 2025 at the gallery of the Suzhou Tourist Information Center.
