BANK将于第十届Asia NOW巴黎艺术博览会欣然呈现艺术小组政纯办的影像作品“抽相”。BANK曾携政纯办作品亮相于第一届（2015）及第三届（2017）Asia Now艺博会。今年，我们将共同庆祝Asia Now的十周年，参与其特别策划的“视频展区”单元。
今年的客座策展团队是尼古拉·布希欧（Nicolas Bourriaud）创立的国际策展合作社Radicants。他们将把巴黎钱币博物馆转变为一个充满活力的沉浸式空间，从日常烹饪的仪式感到节庆时的集体狂欢，完美融合神圣与世俗的元素。
BANK is pleased to present art group Polit-Sheer-Form Office (PSFO)'s video work WHIP IT in the video section of the 10th Asia NOW. BANK has participated in the first (2015) and third (2017) editions of Asia NOW with PSFO's works. This year, we will celebrate Asia NOW's 10th anniversary by participating in its specially curated video section.
Asia NOW 2024 is curated by the international curatorial collective Radicants, founded by Nicolas Bourriaud. They make the exhibition blending the sacred and the mundane from culinary rituals to the communal exuberance of festivals, throughout the entire site of Monnaie de Paris.

About WHIP IT

鞭打行为象征着压迫和剥削，美术馆的墙壁变成了艺术家攻击的目标。《抽相》将文化和历史符号提炼为强有力的评论，体现了政纯办将政治转化为艺术的方法。
In the video, a man in a business suit stands on a blue pedestal, armed with a leather whip In UCCA's Nave Gallery. As he paces, he whips the walls, showcasing movements from controlled to aggressive. Trained in the use of the whip, he leaves marks and gashes on the wall during the one- to two-hour performance, open to the public and filmed from multiple angles. Afterward, the pedestal and damaged walls remain as part of the installation.
The act of whipping symbolizes oppression and exploitation, transforming the museum walls into targets for the artist's aggression. WHIP IT distills cultural and historical symbols into a powerful commentary, exemplifying Polit-Sheer-Form's approach of turning politics into art.
