7月2日上午,越南政府总理范明正在首尔会见三星集团总裁李在镕。

三星电子是韩国的跨国企业,成立于1969年1月,业务涉及电子设备,网络设备,半导体,智能手机生产的领域,2023年该公司营业额达2100亿美元,公司员工27万人。

三星电子在越南投资224亿美元,就业人数9万人,2023年越南三星出口金额557亿美元。

三星在越南北部的北宁省(Bac Ninh)和太原省(Thai Nguyen)设有大型制造工厂。这些工厂主要生产智能手机、平板电脑和其他电子产品。

三星在胡志明市也有工厂,主要生产家电产品,如电视和洗衣机等。

会见时,李在镕感谢越南政府向三星给予支持,特别在新冠肺炎疫情期间越南政府协助三星度过时艰。

范明正总理提议三星越南公司提高国产率,帮助越南国内企业提升竞争力,有效参与集团供应链,帮助越南培养人才,创新创业和加强科技研发。范明正也希望未来会有越南人参加三星越南公司领导层。

2024年上半年越南吸引外资取得显著进展

2024年上半年,越南在吸引外资方面取得了显著的进展,主要集中在制造业、高科技、可再生能源和基础设施建设等领域。

据越南统计总局6月29日公布的数据,2024年上半年,越南吸引外资达近152亿美元,与2023年同期相比增长13.1%。

上半年,获得投资许可证的新项目1538个,注册资金近95.4亿美元,项目数量和注册资金分别同比增长18.9%和46.9%。增资项目592项次,同比下降6.3%,增资额达39.5亿美元,同比增长35%。外国投资者出资购股交易1420个,同比下降10.9%,合资额近17亿美元,同比下降57.7%。

上半年实际利用外资额达108.4亿美元,同比增长8.2%。

统计总局表示,实际利用外资额和注册资金都呈现良好增长势头,与前5月相比分别增长0.4个百分点和11.1个百分点。

今年6月份,增资额高于今年前几个月,达近19亿美元,占上半年增资额的47.3%。

关于投资领域,今年上半年,外国投资者已对21个国民经济产业中的18个进行投资。其中加工制造业位居第一,吸引的投资资金近106.9亿美元,占注册资金总额的70.4%,同比增长26.3%。

房地产经营行业位居第二,引进的外资额超24.7亿美元,占注册资金总额的16.3%,同比增长61。5%。其次分别为零售、专业活动和科技等。

关于投资伙伴,上半年84个国家和地区对越南投资,新加坡以投资资金近55.8亿美元,占外资总额的近36.7%,同比增长86%,位居第一。日本位居第二,投资资金超17.3亿美元,占外资总额的11.4%,同比下降21.6%。其次为中国香港、韩国和中国等。

从投资项目来看,中国新投资项目位居第一,占越南上半年外资项目总量的29.1%。

上半年,外国投资者已对越南48个省市进行投资。北宁省引进外资近25.8亿美元,占全越引进外资总额近17%,是同期的3.1倍以上,位居全越第一。继北宁之后为巴地头顿省,吸引外资近15.4亿美元,占全越注册资金的10.1%,同比增长11倍。广宁省位居第三,引进外资额超13.6亿美元,占全越外资总额近9%。其次分别是河内、海防和胡志明市等。

Samsung also has a factory in Ho Chi Minh City, which mainly produces home appliances such as TVs and washing machines.

During the meeting, Lee Jae-yong thanked the Vietnamese government for its support to Samsung, especially during the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

Lee Jae-yong said that in the past 16 years, the cooperative relationship between Samsung and Vietnam has flourished, Samsung and Vietnam have grown together, Vietnam's success is Samsung's success, and Vietnam's development is Samsung's development.

In the first half of 2024, Vietnam attracted nearly US$15.2 billion in foreign investment, an increase of 13.1% compared to the same period in 2023, according to data released by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam on June 29.

In the first half of the year, 1,538 new projects with investment licenses were obtained, with a registered capital of nearly US$9.54 billion, and the number of projects and registered capital increased by 18.9% and 46.9% year-on-year, respectively. In June, the capital increase was higher than in the previous months of this year, reaching nearly $1.9 billion, accounting for 47.3% of the capital increase in the first half of the year.

In the first half of this year, foreign investors have invested in 18 of the 21 sectors of the national economy. Among them, the processing and manufacturing industry ranked first, attracting nearly 10.69 billion US dollars in investment funds, accounting for 70.4% of the total registered capital, a year-on-year increase of 26.3%.

Japan ranked second, with investment funds exceeding US$1.73 billion, accounting for 11.4% of total foreign investment, down 21.6% year-on-year. This is followed by Hong Kong, South Korea and China.

In terms of investment projects, China's new investment projects ranked first, accounting for 29.1% of Vietnam's total foreign-funded projects in the first half of the year.

Quang Ninh province ranked third, attracting more than US$1.36 billion in foreign investment, accounting for nearly 9% of Vietnam's total foreign investment. They are followed by Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City.
