本周，我们继续带来2组配对酒厂的介绍，世涛爱好者有福了~ 现在就跟我一起，了解一下今年的酒厂和他们的创意合酿吧！
全国唯一一家将酒厂建在千亩酒花田中的新疆厂牌，拥有六种自己种植的酒花，以酒花的应用和研发作为使命，具备创造优秀啤酒的强大基础。酒花农场与新疆瓜果之乡的结合是酒花农场的酿造优势。经过七年以来的努力耕耘和奋斗，酒花农场致力于带着最优秀的产品，走向世界。
Left Handed Giant在2014年成立于英格兰城市布里斯托，目前开设了三家门店。他们现在有两家酿酒厂，分别位于在St Phillips的酒吧与市中心的旗舰店中。Left Handed Giant的名字来源于布里斯托本地的经典民俗故事：为了赢得Avona的芳心，两位巨人试图使湖干涸，便奋力挖掘峡谷，而这个区域就是现在Avon河流经的地方。
酒花农场的老家新疆有个知名甜品：切糕。所以两家决定做一款香气风味类似的、有牛奶奶油风味、水果果酱风味的切糕世涛。刚好在交流过程中了解到，Left Handed Giant也非常擅长世涛类产品，酿酒师Andy在世涛品类有很多经验，而且这款合酿可以用到我们自己种植的啤酒花，非常有代表意义。酒花农场和Left Handed Giant还为京A 8X8的酒友准备了另外一个小惊喜，我们下次再剧透哦~
国内学院派精酿厂牌的代表“青門啤酒”，他们的产品融合了西方的酿造理念与东方的食材和审美。以美丽的港口城市天津为中心，一边深入内陆、一边远渡重洋。保持技术冷静的同时，注重创新、幽默的表达。
青門是古长安城的东门，东门附近是大唐的商业繁华区，故为酒肆集中之地。取“东门” 之意，希望打开东边的大门，使西方的酿酒理念与东方的原料和审美在这里碰撞和融合。
Vault City是目前英国最大的专注酸啤的独立酒厂。自2018年创建以来，这家来自于苏格兰爱丁堡的酒厂已经酿造了超300款特色啤酒。专注口味上的探索与对啤酒酿造的突破是Vault City最擅长的事。Vault City的名字源于他们的老家爱丁堡这座历史名城，爱丁堡是地下金库的故乡，这一传统在这个城市已经有超过两个世纪的历史了。直到现在，本地居民和各地游客都可以参观这些地下金库，来了解爱丁堡的丰富历史。
Vault City不仅仅擅长水果甜点酸艾这类风格，对于帝国世涛的酿造也颇有心得。深色烈性是我们本次合酿的方向，并且也在考虑其中如何突出并融合东西方特色原材料。黑芝麻是本次合酿的主要特色原料之一，也考虑到京A 8X8啤酒节的时间靠近深秋，烈性温暖饱满浓郁的帝国甜点世涛则是我们这次所联合呈现的啤酒风格。

This Week, We're Continuing with Introductions to 2 Paired Breweris. Those who love stout should pay attention! Join us as we explore their creative collaborations for this year's event.
The only Xinjiang brand in the country to build a brewery in a thousand acre hops field, with six types of hops grown by ourself. With the mission of applying and researching hops, it has a strong foundation to create excellent beer. Xinjiang is known as the hometown of melons and fruits，it becomes the brewing advantage of Hops Farm. After seven years of hard work and struggle, Hop Farm is committed to bringing the best products to the world.
Founded in 2014, Left Handed Giant are a Bristol-based brewing company from England, with three premises across the city. We make a variety of styles from our two brewery sites, one at our taproom in St Philips, and one at our flagship brewpub in the heart of the city. The name 'Left Handed Giant' comes from a legendary folklore of Bristol of two giants attempting to win the heart of 'Avona'. Their aim to drain the lake by digging the gorge that the River Avon now runs through.
Hops Farm's hometown in Xinjiang is famous for a dessert called Qiegao. Inspired by its flavors, the two breweries created a Qiegao Stout with milk, cream, and fruity jam notes. During their discussions, they discovered that Left Handed Giant is also highly skilled in making stouts, with their brewmaster Andy having extensive experience in this category. This collaboration is even more special as it features hops grown by Hop Farm, making it truly representative of their craft. Plus, Hop Farm and Left-Handed Giant have a little extra surprise for 8X8 fans—stay tuned for more details next time!
We are EAST GAET BREWING. Our brewing team has a strong academic background. We adapt western brewing philosophy to eastern ingredients and tastes. Located in the beautiful harbour city Tianjin, we aim to build a bridge between the East and the West. We value techniques, as well as creativity and some sense of humor. During Tang Dynasty in the capital city Chang’An, there used to be many bars in EAST GATE area and people gathered in here for great drinks. We name ourselves EAST GATE hoping that beer lovers can have a good time for beer with unique Chinese flavours.
We’re Vault City, an independent craft brewery and the UK’s largest dedicated sour beer producer. We brew modern sour beer in Edinburgh, Scotland, and have produced well over 300 unique beers since we launched in 2018. We’re all about flavour exploration and pushing the boundaries of what people typically expect from beer. Vault City's name stems from the city the brewery was founded in, a place steeped in history and tradition. It’s home to ancient underground vaults that have been part of its history for well over 2 centuries. Locals and tourists can visit the underground vaults to learn more about their dark past, which have a huge cultural relevance and make up a big part of the city’s rich tapestry.
Vault City is skilled at crafting fruity sour ales and has a knack for brewing imperial stouts. For this collaboration, we’re focusing on a dark and robust direction, exploring how to highlight and blend unique ingredients from both East and West. One of the critical ingredients for this brew is black sesame, which was chosen especially considering the timing of the Jing-A 8X8 Beer Festival in late autumn. We’re presenting a rich, warming, and full-bodied imperial dessert stout as our joint creation for this event.
