The 2024 Global AI Product & Application Expo opened today in Suzhou Industrial Park and will last through tomorrow.
Revolving around such hot topics as the big model, artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC), and embodied AI, the expo will witness four AI entrepreneurship competitions, seven themed sub-forums, nearly 100 AI products and solutions with interactive experience, three award ceremonies, the release of about 20 new cutting-edge products, and project match-making meetings featuring over 20 application scenarios. The expo is estimated to attract more than 10,000 visitors.
At the special invitation of the expo, nearly 50 distinguished guests, including John Edward Hopcroft, member of the US National Academy of Engineering and recipient of the Turing Award, Mei Hong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Ninghui, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and executive director of the China Computer Federation, and about 300 industry experts from home and abroad will bring valuable cutting-edge visions to the event.
Representatives from about 100 leading and renowned enterprises, including Microsoft, Huawei, iFLYTEK, and AISpeech, will deliver speeches and showcase the latest AI technology.
Since its inception in 2018, the expo has become one of the four major exhibitions in China's AI industry. So far, the five editions have gathered more than 1,200 exhibitors and teams, invited over 1,000 experts and scholars, displayed more than 50,000 products and solutions, and attracted 200,000-plus attendees.
Suzhou Industrial Park has seized opportunities to promote the AI industry since 2017. So far, the park's industrial output value has surpassed the threshold of 100 billion yuan, making the park a hub for industrial development with global influence.
