11月16日至18日三天内，吴中区各A级景区、国有非A级景区将对第三届苏州“环太湖1号公路”马拉松赛事跑友免费开放。
The 3rd Suzhou No.1 Road Around Taihu Lake Marathon is set to open on Sunday. To celebrate the event, A-level scenic areas and state-owned non-A-level scenic areas in Wuzhong district will offer free access to all marathon runners with bibs from tomorrow to November 18.
The free scenic areas are as follows:
A-level scenic areas:
Wuzhong Taihu Lake Tourist Area (Qiyuan Garden启园, Zijin Nunnery紫金庵, Carved Building东山雕花楼, Luxiang Ancient Village陆巷古村, Sanshan Island三山岛, Qionglong Mountain穹窿山, and Wangshan Scenic Area旺山), Mudu Ancient Town木渎古镇, Luzhi Ancient Town甪直古镇, West Hill Scenic Area (Linwu Cave林屋洞, Shigong Mountain石公山, and Happy Farm西山岛开心农场), Guangfu Scenic Area (Sea of Fragrant Snow香雪海, Bronze Kwan-yin Temple铜观音寺, and Situ Temple司徒庙), Tianchi Mountain Scenic Area (Tianchi Mountain天池山 and Mountain Hua花山)

Start/Finish Area Layout
Participating runners are advised to arrive at the venue one hour earlier to save more time for luggage storage, check-in, and warm-ups. Half marathon runners for Areas C, D, and E have to pass the Suzhou Bay Underground Space via its B1 passageway to arrive at the Package Storage Area and Check-in Area.

When does the gun sound?
The first gun goes off at around 7:30 a.m. for runners at Area A.
The second gun goes off at around 7:35 a.m. for runners at Area B.
The third gun goes off at around 7:40 a.m. for runners at Area C.
The fourth gun goes off at around 7:45 a.m. for runners at Area D.
The fifth gun goes off at around 7:50 a.m. for runners at Area E.
The sixth gun goes off at around 7:55 a.m. for runners at Area F.
Note: The practice of checking in at different areas and running for different categories is not allowed. Once the rule is violated, the participant will be deprived of his or her result and ranking and be banned from the race for a whole year.
