A recent medical consultation at a clinic in China has left a doctor stunned after a woman seeking infertility treatment revealed unexpected details about her situation.

The incident, which has sparked online discussions, unfolded when a woman visited a clinic alone to seek help for her difficulty in conceiving. During the consultation, the doctor inquired whether her husband had accompanied her, as infertility assessments typically involve both partners.

The doctor asked, “Did you come alone? Is your husband with you?”

The woman replied, “No, he didn’t come. I think the problem must be mine, so I didn’t ask him to come. There’s no need for him to be here.”

Her response puzzled the doctor, who explained that pregnancy is a shared responsibility between both partners. “In cases like this, it is necessary for both partners to be examined. Even if you are healthy, if your husband has issues, conception won’t happen. So, you should have brought him along,” the doctor advised.

However, what truly left the doctor speechless was the woman's next revelation.

She explained that she and her husband had been married for more than six months but had been unsuccessful in conceiving. Believing the issue lay with her, she decided to test her fertility privately—by being with multiple other men.

She admitted, “We've been married for over half a year, and I still haven’t gotten pregnant. So, in between, I secretly tried with a few other people, and I still didn’t get pregnant. That must mean the problem is with me. That’s why I didn’t bring my husband along.”

Her shocking confession reportedly left the doctor at a loss for words, and the conversation quickly became a hot topic online.

Netizens React

The woman's reasoning sparked a wave of reactions from netizens, many of whom were stunned by her logic.

🔹 “This is beyond imagination. Did she just admit to cheating while trying to prove she’s fertile?”

🔹 “Forget infertility—her marriage might not survive after this revelation.”

🔹 “The doctor probably wasn’t expecting to hear something like this in his entire career.”

Others pointed out that infertility is a medical issue that requires both partners to be assessed, not just the woman.

🔹 “It’s ridiculous how some people always assume the problem is with the woman.”

🔹 “Men should be equally involved in fertility check-ups. It’s never just one person’s issue.”
