Beijing released a draft of an action plan aiming to train 3,000 skilled professionals in integrated medical and elderly care services to support chronic disease management, meeting a growing market demand. The city will also facilitate connections between college graduates and healthcare service providers, elderly care centers, and community clinics to introduce more high-quality employment opportunities.
《北京市医养实用人才培养三年行动计划（2024—2027年）（征求意见稿）》近日在京发布，提出到2027年，本市将培训3000名市场急需的不同慢病病种的医养结合服务实用型人才。此外将推动培训学员与医疗机构、养老机构、社区养老服务驿站（活动站）、养老服务综合体医养结合专区供给的有效对接，促进高质量就业。

The Tianjin Smart Agriculture Institute, a research base set up by the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, has become a focal point for agriculture collaboration between Beijing and Tianjin. High-tech projects like "Smart Orchards" now allow farmers to monitor crop health and manage irrigation directly from their smartphones, increasing productivity and efficiency.

From Nov 1 to 3, the Forbidden City’s Corner Tower Café participated in the 2024 Beijing International Culture and Tourism Consumption Expo. Visitors can sample signature coffee and explore creative merchandise, including the popular “Imperial Blue Dragon” figurine and “Four Seasons of the Forbidden City” fridge magnets.
11月1日至3日，2024北京国际文旅消费博览会在北京展览馆举办，故宫角楼咖啡设展位为观众带来特色咖啡和文创。其中，多款故宫甄选和经典咖啡到场，还有备受欢迎的“石青龙”和“故宫四季”主题文创等参展。观众可在展台品尝特色咖啡，欣赏精美文创。

北京开启千余公里山地绿道建设
Construction of a 1,000-kilometer mountain green trail stretching from Zhoukoudian in the west to Jinhai Lake in the east began on November 2. The green trail crosses 9 districts, and will connect tourist attractions like the Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site and the Great Wall to local attractions, farms, and orchards.
2日上午，北京山地绿道启动建设。它是一条穿越北京城“前山脸”的林间绿道，西起房山区周口店猿人遗址，东至平谷区金海湖，全长1000余公里。绿道沿途跨越九区，串联周口店遗址、潭柘寺、妙峰山、十三陵、八达岭长城、雁栖湖、密云水库、五彩浅山、金海湖等风景资源，以及乡村民俗、观光果园、休闲农庄等消费场所。
1500余盆菊花“打擂”
“燕山秋色”当选“菊王”
At the Beijing Chrysanthemum Championship, a chrysanthemum variety named Autumn in Yanshan Mountain, cultivated by Beijing World Flower Wonderland Park, won the title of “King of Chrysanthemums” among 1,500 entries from across China. Visitors can enjoy the flower exhibition until late November.
作为“花开北京”全民赏花系列活动之一，第十五届北京菊花擂台赛2日在中国插花艺术博物馆举办。由北京世界花卉大观园培育的“燕山秋色”从全国52家单位参赛的1500余盆菊花中脱颖而出，当选“菊王”。菊展将持续至11月下旬。

北京游客直奔天津生态城
Just an hour away by high-speed rail, Tianjin Eco-City has become a popular coastal destination for Beijing residents. The city offers 13 maritime-themed attractions, including the National Maritime Museum of China, an aircraft carrier park, and the Mazu Cultural Park, celebrating its ocean heritage.
