How do you prioritize initiatives for Strategy implementation & action planning?

Here is a practical framework to map the initiatives/projects on the scale of impact & effort. This is a great workshop as a team, where you can discuss and calibrate the initiatives by creating further measures and criteria on impact and effort.

🔵 Quick Wins - High Impact - Low Effort
These initiatives are high ROI/ROE (low hanging fruits!) and should be prioritized. 

🔵 Big Projects - High Impact - High Effort
These initiatives offer high impact but need strong stakeholder alignment. These initiatives should be planned and communicated well. 

🔵 Money Pits - Low Impact - High Effort
These initiatives need to be reconsidered and reevaluated. Some of the projects expected to be high impact might fall down to this category. This is where leadership/power dynamics typically create struggles. 

🔵 Incremental Projects - Low Impact - Low Return
These initiatives need to reviewed and scheduled over time for idle times / low work seasons, only if they are really necessary. If not necessary/mandatory, thesw ones should be canceled.
