Lawyer Melati graduated from the University of Pelita Harapan in 2014 and has over eight years of experience in corporate law.. Melati began her career as an intern at a Dentons HPRP (formerly Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners), where she learned fundamental skills in corporate law, including due diligence and memorandum drafting. Afterward, she joined Murdono Law Office, a firm specializing in energy and infrastructure, where she discovered her passion for the sector. In this role, she participated in several high-profile power plant projects as part of Indonesia’s 35,000 MW national strategic program. representing the state-owned enterprises engaging in all phases from project conception to negotiations, procurement, and the finalization of power purchase agreements.
Subsequently, she joined Arruanpitu & Partners in Association with Jipyong, where she provided counsel to South Korean investors across various industries, not limited to entertainment, food and beverage, construction, and multi-finance. Her advisory work encompassed general corporate matters and complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. Melati is confident that her extensive experience and knowledge will be highly advantageous for Topwe Law firm, in assisting the clients on their investments in Indonesia.
