今年的公演剧目《诸神也疯狂》依然秉承着学生一贯的原创原则，由IB初中 7-9年级所有学生及DP 10年级的戏剧学生倾情演绎。作为跨学科教学活动的一部分，该剧融合了我校多个学科组的创意才华。初中的个人与社会课程一直在探究像希腊和罗马这样的古代文明是如何利用众神和神话来解释世界奥秘的。古希腊人甚至将奥运会作为一种向众神致敬的方式。这不仅仅是体育赛事，更是对神力的一种颂扬。该剧即是通过希腊众神和罗马众神在一场争夺至高地位的戏剧性战斗中的对峙来体现这种竞争和崇敬的精神。
处于青春期的学生们喜欢用行动的力量，以戏剧的方式表达他们的情感。“初中人文学科”、“戏剧”、“音乐”、“视觉艺术”和“英语文学”课程的知识积累使他们奇思妙想更迭、创造力迸发。我校的跨学科探究课已实行多年，在国际学校行列相对处于领先地位，今年的戏剧公演又成为我校跨学科项目实践的一个有力佐证。
《诸神也疯狂》主要讲述了希腊众神和罗马众神之间的一场宏大冲突！这是一场宇宙级的冲突，古代众神在舞台上复活，为权力和至高无上的地位而战。演员们将通过表演、动作、独白、对白以及皮影戏的动态组合，把您带入一个神话与传说相互碰撞的世界。
这场戏剧之夜，学生们沉浸在这一虚拟的舞台，在原创自编的戏剧中体验人生，在戏剧与改编中历练自我，感受着虚拟与现实交错的时空情境。作为我校美堉教育的重要组成部分，校园戏剧起着举足轻重的作用，这一夜，“剧”焦我们，让青春演绎、让时光驻留！

This year's play " The Gods Must Be Crazy " still adheres to the students' original principle. This year's play is still cross-programed as before. Ms. Rene, the general drama instructor provided the guidance from creation, scriptwriting to rehearsal. The MYP students of Huamao International School and all of Drama students in Year 10 are all committed and truly performed.
Students in adolescence naturally prefer to use the power of action to express their emotions in a dramatic way. The knowledge accumulation of "Individual & Society", "Drama", "Music", "Visual Arts" and literature courses makes them inspire their ideas and creativity burst out. The interdisciplinary inquiry course of our school has been implemented for many years, which is relatively leading in the ranks of international schools, and this year's drama performance is another strong evidence of our school's interdisciplinary project practice.
The MYP students of the International School are enthusiastic and passionate. The Individual and Society course has been exploring how ancient civilizations like Greece and Rome used gods and myths to explain the mysteries of the world. The ancient Greeks even used the Olympics as a way to pay homage to the gods. It's not just a sporting event, it's a celebration of divine power. The play embodies this spirit of competition and reverence through the confrontation of Greek and Roman gods in a dramatic battle for supremacy.
In this drama, students immersed themselves in this virtual stage and experienced life in their original drama and enjoyed themselves in the parody and adaptation, feeling the space-time situation of virtuality and reality. As an important part of Mei Yu education in our school, campus drama plays a pivotal role. Let’s focus on our drama show while interpret our dynamic youth in your own perspective way.
