The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) hosted the UK-China Reception for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and supported our members throughout the expo. For seven consecutive years, British businesses have maintained a strong presence at the CIIE. This year, exhibitors represented a broad spectrum of sectors, including technology, finance, healthcare, and consumer goods.

On Wednesday, 6 November, CBBC, in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), hosted a networking reception at the Harrods Tea Room in Shanghai, offering an excellent opportunity to help member companies forge meaningful and valuable connections throughout this international trade event.
Attending the reception were Dame Caroline Wilson, British Ambassador to China, Lewis Neal, HM Trade Commissioner to China, Huang Yuefeng, Deputy Director General Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, People’s Republic of China, Tom Simpson, Managing Director, China, CBBC.
