英中贸易协会联合嘉兴市政府驻上海联络处、嘉兴市商务局举办本次交流活动，旨在介绍嘉兴市最新经济社会发展情况和合作机遇，进一步深化嘉兴与英国在经贸投资，先进制造，绿色低碳等领域的合作。
本活动将为会员企业提供与嘉兴市政府对接交流平台，实地了解嘉兴市重点企业，获取区域投资发展信息。
CBBC cordially invites you to participate in a members visit to Jiaxing of Zhejiang province to be held on November 14, 2024 (Thursday) in Jiaxing.
CBBC, together with the and the representative office of Jiaxing Municipal Government in Shanghai, co-organises this exchange event to have a better understand of the latest economic and social development as well as cooperation opportunities in Jiaxing City, and further deepen cooperation between the UK and Jiaxing including economic and trade investment, advanced manufacturing, green and low carbon.
This event will provide a platform for member enterprises to connect and exchange ideas with the Jiaxing Municipal Government, to gain an on-site understanding of the development of local leading enterprises in Jiaxing, and to explore communication and cooperation.

关于嘉兴
嘉兴市，是长江三角洲重要城市之一. 嘉兴是浙江接轨上海的“桥头堡”、距离沪杭两地高铁仅需25分钟左右。嘉兴常住人口555万，2023年全市地区生产总值7062.5亿元；增长6.3%，财政总收入1102.6亿元，列浙江省第三。嘉兴历史悠久,产业发达, 世界互联网大会永久举办地和浙江省高质量外资集聚地。目前全市实际运营外资企业近5000家，已有146家世界500强企业在嘉兴投资233个项目。
嘉兴与英国经贸投资往来密切，截止2024年 7月底共有约80家英国企业在嘉兴投资兴业，合同外资13 亿美元，实到外资约4亿美元. 2024年1-6月，全市共有1600多家企业与英国有贸易往来。实现进出口46亿元，同比增长10%。
Jiaxing City is one of the important cities in the Yangtze River Delta. Jiaxing is the "bridgehead" for Zhejiang to connect with Shanghai, only about 25 minutes to Shanghai or Hangzhou by the high-speed railway. Jiaxing has a permanent population of 5.55 million and a total regional GDP of 706.25 billion RMB in 2023, growth of 6.3%, with a total fiscal revenue of 110.26 billion RMB, ranking third in Zhejiang Province. Jiaxing has a long history and well-developed industries. It is the permanent venue of the World Internet Conference and a major destination of high-quality foreign investment in Zhejiang Province. At present, there are nearly 5000 foreign-funded enterprises operating in Jiaxing, including 233 projects invested by 146 Fortune 500 companies.
Jiaxing has close business ties with the UK. As of the end of July 2024, around 80 British companies have invested and started businesses in Jiaxing, with a contracted foreign investment of 1.3 billion US dollars and actual foreign investment about 400 million US dollars. From January to June 2024, there were over 1600 companies in Jiaxing that had trade relations with the UK, with imports and exports of 4.6 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 10%.
