【日常口语】| 一鸣惊人

一鸣惊人:an amazing performance after a long silence" or "to astonish everyone with a single brilliant feat." It's often used to describe someone who surprises others with an outstanding display of talent or ability after being relatively unnoticed.

1. Make a splash - 引起轰动,令人瞩目。

例句:
She made a splash with her incredible performance on stage.
(她的精彩表演在舞台上引起了轰动。)


2. Blow everyone away - 让所有人震惊/折服。

例句:
