On July 26th, International volunteers from Learn-Will, together with young people from the Green Lake Community, visited the Museum of Wu Culture in Suzhou to see the exhibition "Stories Etched in Stone: Famous Ancient Trees of Wu County." The exhibition centers around the stories of famous ancient trees in the Wu region, focusing on the theme of "trees" for the first time. It aims to inspire a love for nature among visitors and raise awareness about the importance of protecting local ancient trees.

The community children learned about the ancient and famous trees of various species from different areas of Suzhou through a bilingual explanation. In their interactions and explorations with international volunteers, they engaged with the trees' vitality through multiple sensory experiences, such as observing, listening, smelling, and touching. The children then completed a bilingual survey report, broadening their knowledge of nature education and the cultural significance of ancient trees.

After the visit, international volunteer Dami from Nigeria guided the children in creating plant leaf specimens on-site. They used their imagination and understanding to create their own nature art specimens. After the activity, everyone took their leaf specimens home, continuing to be inspired and nurtured by the vitality of the ancient trees, striving to grow into nature-loving and positive young individuals.
