JANUARY

New Year's Day: 

January 1, Wednesday

Make-up work days: None


FEBRUARY

Chinese New Year: 

January 28, Tuesday - February 4, Tuesday

Make-up work days: 

January 26, Saturday and February 8, Saturday

Traditional customs for the Spring Festival include making dumplings, setting off firecrackers, cleaning and decorating the house, giving children red envelopes with 'lucky money', posting New Year's scrolls, and visiting relatives on New Year's Day... These activities symbolize reunion and fortune in Chinese culture, strengthen family bonds and express well-wishes for the coming year with auspicious words.


APRIL

Tomb Sweeping Festival (Qingming): 

April 4, Friday - April 6, Sunday

Make-up work days: None

During Tomb-Sweeping Day,  it is customary for people to go on outings, plant trees, fly kites, sweep tombs, and honor their ancestors. It is a time to express gratitude and maintain the connection with family roots.


MAY

Labor Day (May Holiday): 

May 1, Thursday - May 5, Monday

Make-up work days:

April 27, Saturday


JUNE

Dragonboat Festival: 

May 31, Saturday - June 2, Monday

Make-up work days: None


During the Dragon Boat Festival, you can enjoy eating traditional festival food called zongzi, dragon boat races, drinking hsiung huang wine...This festival is rich cultural significance, commemorating the great poet Qu Yuan, while also celebrating teamwork and traditional spirit through the competitive and energetic dragon boat races.


OCTOBER

National Holiday and Mid Autumn Festival: 

October 1, Wednesday - October 8, Wednesday

Make-up work days: 

September 28, Saturday, and October 11, Saturday

According to traditional customs for the Mid-Autumn Festival, people gather to admire the full round moon and eating mooncakes...This festival symbolizes reunion and completeness, reflecting people's yearning for a happy, a happy family life and a prosperous future.
