1994年，苏州古城东翼的这片水塘洼地成为中国和新加坡两国政府合作的重要项目那一年她有了一个全新的名字苏州工业园区，英文简称SIP也就此展开了她超乎想象的未来
Starting from 'Eastern Gusu City'
In 1994, this low-lying area of ponds on the eastern wing of Suzhou's ancient city became an important project of cooperation between the Chinese and Singaporean governments. It was then given a brand-new name: Suzhou Industrial Park, or SIP for short in English, which marked the beginning of an extraordinary future
一部“改革史诗”
10年时间，再造了一个新苏州15年时间，实现了“四个超千亿”2016年后，跃居国家级经开区综合考评第一连续保持了“八连冠”30年时间，以“园区速度”写就了一部气势磅礴的改革史诗园区也成为了中国改革开放的重要窗口。
经过千锤百炼形成了“借鉴、创新、圆融、共赢”的园区经验“园区经验”连同“昆山之路”“张家港精神”被合称为苏州“三大法宝”。
一代代园区人在这里接力拼搏敢想敢试、追求卓越以速度与激情塑造世界一流高科技园区、一流自贸试验区赋予“园区经验”新内涵。
A 'Reform Epic'
In 10 years, a new Suzhou was created. In 15 years, significant economic achievements and milestones were achieved. After 2016, Suzhou Industrial Park rose to first place in the comprehensive evaluation of national-level economic development zones, maintaining the top spot for eight consecutive years. Over 30 years, with the 'Park Speed,' it has written a grand epic of reform. The park has also become an important window for China's reform and opening up.
Through repeated refinement, the 'SIP experience' was formed, characterized by 'learning from others, innovation, integration, and mutual benefit.' The 'SIP experience,' along with the 'Kunshan path' and the 'Zhangjiagang spirit,' is collectively known as Suzhou's 'Three Treasures.
Generations of people in SIP have worked tirelessly here, daring to think big and experiment, and striving for excellence. With speed and passion, they have shaped a world-class high-tech park and a leading free trade pilot zone, giving new meaning to the 'SIP experience.

From a 'low-lying area of ponds' to an 'innovative city,' all the visions outlined in a single blueprint have been fully realized.
This land, occupying just 3% of Suzhou’s area, has generated about 15% of the city's GDP, with a GDP output of 1.05 billion yuan per square kilometer and a per capita GDP of 354,000 yuan. These achievements demonstrate its steadfast commitment and boldness in pursuing high-quality development, continuously enhancing the city's appeal and strength.
