New transportation options are emerging
in the skies above Suzhou!
7月13日，位于苏州高新区的苏州空中快线高新广场直航中心正式启用，从直航中心“打飞的”到无锡苏南硕放机场仅需约12分钟。这一距离原本打车需要四五十分钟，坐公交则需要将近一个半小时。通过空中快速飞行及机场专属通道，通行效率相较于地面通勤、机场普通通道提高4至5倍。该中心还将推出定制化的市内飞行航线，到苏州北站的飞行服务，仅需7分钟。通过提升空中出行、机场接驳等服务，培育城市空中交通新业态，全力打造辐射长三角的低空交通网络。
On July 13, the Suzhou Air Express High-Tech Plaza Direct Flight Center, located in Suzhou High-Tech Zone, was officially put into operation. It takes only about 12 minutes to fly directly from the center to Wuxi Sunan Shuofang Airport, a distance that would typically take 40 to 50 minutes by taxi and nearly an hour and a half by bus. With fast aerial travel and exclusive airport channels, transit efficiency is improved by 4 to 5 times compared to ground commuting and regular airport channels. The center will also introduce customized city flight routes, with service to Suzhou North Station taking just 7 minutes. By enhancing air travel and airport transfer services, the aim is to cultivate new urban air transportation industries and build a low-altitude traffic network that radiates across the Yangtze River Delta.
苏州已经官宣启用直航中心及中心至无锡硕放机场、苏州北站的航线，但目前仍处于内测阶段，内测结束后，相关飞行服务预计在八九月份会正式推出，届时，有需要的乘客可以通过APP预约。
Suzhou has officially announced the launch of the Direct Flight Center and the routes from the center to Wuxi Shuofang Airport and Suzhou North Station. However, it is currently in the internal testing phase. After the internal testing is completed, the related flight services are expected to be officially introduced in August or September. At that time, passengers can make reservations through the app.
未来直航中心将成为空中快线的枢纽点，并计划开通至上海虹桥机场、浦东机场的直升机联程接驳航线。
In the future, the Direct Flight Center will become a hub for the Air Express and plans to launch helicopter transfer routes to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport.
“打飞的”无疑可以大大缩短到机场或者车站的通勤时间，但费用高低也是大家关心的问题。
"Taking an air taxi" can undoubtedly greatly shorten the commuting time to the airport or train station, but the cost is also a concern for everyone.
机型不同，费用也存在差异。比如用美国罗宾逊公司的R44直升机，从苏州高新广场到无锡硕放机场飞行时间约12分钟，价格是1200元每架次，机上总共有4个座位，除了飞行员外，最多可乘坐3名乘客，平均下来每人费用约400元。而从高新广场到苏州北站乘坐直升机，飞行时间只需7分钟，拼机每人费用约200多元。
The cost varies depending on the aircraft type. For instance, using the R44 helicopter from Robinson Helicopter Company, it takes about 12 minutes to fly from Suzhou High-Tech Plaza to Wuxi Shuofang Airport, and the price is 1,200 RMB per trip. The helicopter has a total of four seats, accommodating up to three passengers in addition to the pilot. This averages to about 400 RMB per person. Meanwhile, flying from High-Tech Plaza to Suzhou North Station takes only 7 minutes, and the shared ride costs around 200 RMB per person.
直航中心客服人员直言，这种低空飞行服务其实就是为了服务百姓，并不是为了服务高端人群，价格定位也没那么高。“打飞的跟我们打车一样，可以拼机也可以包机，根据客户的需求我们还提供定制服务，客户可以自己选择其他起飞和降落地点。”
The customer service staff at the Direct Flight Center stated that this low-altitude flight service is actually intended to serve the general public, not just high-end clientele, and the pricing is not that high. "Taking an air taxi is like taking a cab; you can either share the ride or book the entire aircraft. We also offer customized services based on customer needs, allowing them to choose other take-off and landing locations."
