今日小雪
小雪，是二十四节气之第二十个节气，也是冬季的第二个节气。古籍《群芳谱》中说：“小雪气寒而将雪矣，地寒未甚而雪未大也。”小雪节气是反映天气现象的节令，由于天气寒冷，降水形式由雨改为雪，但此时由于“地寒未甚”，故雪量还不足，因此称做小雪。“小雪”的到来，意味着冬季降雪即将拉开序幕。
Minor Snow is the 20th solar term in the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar and the second solar term of winter. The Chinese classic said, "The air turns cold, and snow is about to arrive. The ground is not yet deeply frozen, so the snow remains light." As temperatures drop, it starts to snow. However, since "the ground is not yet deeply frozen," snowfall during this period is generally light, giving rise to the name "Minor Snow." Its arrival signals the beginning of the winter snow.
小雪节气的习俗非常丰富，各地民间都有类似“小雪封地”的说法，所以人们有在此时储备越冬食物的习俗。在南方，从东到西，许多地方都有小雪时节制作酸菜、咸菜的习俗；而在北方，往往用窑子储存蔬菜。
Minor Snow is associated with rich and varied customs. Across different regions, there is a saying: "Minor Snow seals the ground," reflecting the custom of preparing for winter. During this time, people usually stockpile food for the cold season. In southern China, it is common to make pickled vegetables during this period. In northern regions, vegetables are often stored in underground cellars for preservation.
小雪三候：一候虹藏不见，气温降低，北方地区开始下雪，彩虹不再出现；二候天气上升地气下降：天空中的阳气上升，地中的阴气下降，天地不通，阴阳不交，万物失去生机；三候闭塞而成冬，即天气寒冷，天地闭塞，转入严寒的冬天。
There are three periods of Minor Snow: in the first period, as temperatures drop, rainbows, a phenomenon of warmer weather, disappear; in the second period, the natural world enters into a state of dormancy; in the third period, the world is frozen, signaling the transition to severe weather conditions.
