What a pronoun?
A pronoun takes the place of a noun.
I,me,we,us,you,he,she,it are all pronouns.
A pronoun must be in agreement with(与...保持一致）the word it replaces.
In the second sentence, the pronoun "they" takes the place of the noun "the scientists".
The pronoun "it" takes the place of the noun "a toy".
The pronoun "her" takes the place of the noun "the girl".
