We can use a number line as a math tool.
There are number 1-20 on this number line.
What do we know about our problem?
We know 18 is the total number, and 10 is one part.
We can first find the number 18 and 10 on the number line.
Then we can count from 10 to 18, to find the other part.
That is 8 more blocks.
