There are 6 types of animals.
What are they?
They are mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects and fish.
Part Three: Make a hypothesis
What is a hypothesis?
Hypothesis is an idea you can test.
What is your hypothesis?
My hypothesis is only birds can fly/all animals move by walking/starfish are animals.....
Part Four: Test your Hypothesis
Hypothesis 1
Only birds can fly?
How to test? I will choose Survey as the test type.
I will use a forest camera to look at animals in a meadow over one day.
What animals can you see flying in the morning/in the afternoon/in the evening/at night?
I can see ____ flying in the morning/in the afternoon/in the evening/at night.
Hypothesis 2
All animals move by walking.
I will choose book research to find information about how animals move.
I find that some animals move by swimming and flying.
Hypothesis 3
Starfish are animals.
I will choose to measure the movement to watch a starfish closely over one day.
Part Five: Conclusion
We have 3 hypothesis, but only one of them is true.
That is the hypothesis 3, Starfish are animals.
