香港大学ESG研究所诚挚招募数名兼职研究助理，协助完成中国企业ESG表现的经济学研究工作。申请者需为国内外本科或硕士在读学生，合同期为1年（2023年11月至2024年11月），每周工作10-15小时，申请截止日期为2023年10月30日。

HKU ESG Institute is seeking several dedicated part-time research assistants to support economic research on the ESG performance of Chinese companies. Candidates should be current undergraduate or postgraduate students, with a contract term of one year from November 2023 to November 2024. The position requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, and the application deadline is October 30, 2023.

职责描述 Key Responsibilities

• 协助课题组收集中国企业ESG表现的定量与定性数据；
• 与企业进行直接对接，了解ESG行动的执行与挑战；
• 对收集到的数据进行统计学与经济学分析。
  
  
• Assist the research team in collecting quantitative and qualitative data on the ESG performance of Chinese companies.
• Engage in direct communication with companies to understand the implementation and challenges of ESG actions.
• Conduct statistical and economic analysis of the collected data.
  
  

应聘条件 Qualifications

• 经济、金融、管理、环境相关领域的本科或硕士在读学生，对ESG话题有浓厚的兴趣，并了解ESG领域的发展趋势。
• 一周至少工作一天，并能够完整参与一年的项目研究工作。
• 耐心细致，愿意完成有一定重复性的工作。
• 具备良好的沟通能力，中文写作流畅自然。
  
  
• Undergraduate or postgraduate students majoring in economics, finance, management, or related fields, with a strong interest in ESG topics and knowledge of key trends in the ESG field.
• Available to work at least one day per week and able to fully participate in a one-year research project.
• Patient and attentive to details, willing to complete repetitive tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent, natural Chinese writing abilities.

何国俊是研究环境与发展经济学方面的经济学家。他是香港大学经管学院经济学、管理与商业策略教授、香港大学ESG研究所所长、香港大学中国经济研究所副所长。他同时兼任芝加哥大学能源政策研究所中国中心（EPIC-China）研究主任。何本科毕业于北京大学，博士毕业于加州大学伯克利分校、并在哈佛大学从事博士后研究。在加入香港大学之前，何国俊曾任职于香港科技大学。

Guojun HE is an economist working on environmental, development, and governance issues. Currently, he is a professor in Economics and Management & Strategy at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and serves as the director of HKU’s ESG Research Institute and the associate director of HKU’s Institute of China Economy. He holds a concurrent appointment at the Energy Policy Institute of the University of Chicago (EPIC) and leads research activities at its China center (EPIC-China). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from U.C. Berkeley and received undergraduate education from the School of Economics at Peking University. Before joining HKU, he worked at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Harvard University.
