Chinese Zodiac Culture
The Chinese zodiac culture, also known as the zodiac culture, is an important component of the traditional Chinese culture, with a long and profound cultural heritage and social influence. The zodiac culture corresponds to the twelve earthly branches, forming the twelve zodiac signs. Each zodiac sign represents an animal, which in turn is the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, chicken, dog, and pig. These animals cycle in a certain order every twelve years, combined with the lunar year, to mark the year of birth. Each person is assigned a corresponding zodiac animal based on the year of birth.
The Chinese zodiac is not only used for chronology, but also closely related to people's personality, destiny, marriage, career, and so on. In Chinese folklore, each zodiac sign has its unique symbolic and cultural significance. For example, dragons symbolize power, nobility, and good luck, tigers represent bravery and vitality, and sheep are usually associated with gentleness and auspiciousness. These symbolic meanings influence people's behavior and decision-making, and even in some important life events such as marriage, opening, etc., people will consider the compatibility and opposition of the zodiac.
