Summer Fitness Event at Shanghai Times Square

With summer upon us, it's the perfect time to get moving. BYMB is teaming up with Shanghai Times Square to bring you an exhilarating fitness experience.


Four expert instructors from various fields are invited to offer you free classes on August 3, 10, 17, and 24. Dive into Zumba, Boxing Yoga, HIT, and FlowCycle as we embrace the summer with a perfect blend of yoga and fitness.




Fitness Events

Summer is a season full of energy and sunshine, and is the perfect time for boosting your metabolism and blood circulation. BYMB, in collaboration with Shanghai Times Square, is bringing you four exciting events every Saturday in August.



Developed by the renowned Wharf Real Estate Investment Company Limited, Shanghai Times Square is located in the Middle Huaihai Road area. It's one of the largest single-development projects in the east part of Huaihai Road and a famous landmark in Shanghai.



BYMB has planned four classes, including Zumba, Boxing Yoga, HIIT, and FlowCycle. Choose your favorite and get unique fitness experience.



All events are free to participate in. Scan the QR code down below to sign up for the class. A refundable deposit of RMB 69 is required to secure your spot, which will be refunded within five working days after you attend the event. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable in case of absence.

Zumba, a fitness dance originating from Colombia, combines elements of Samba, Cha-Cha, Salsa, and various other Latin dances. It's a fun and effective way to work out and uplift your spirit.



Whether you have a dance background or not, Zumba offers a place for everyone. Through Zumba, you can improve cardiovascular health, increase muscle strength, and enhance posture.



Renata is from Brazil. She has been living and working in China since 2007 and began teaching Zumba in 2017. Her passion for dance and fitness is infectious, and she will lead you through energetic classes where you can sweat and burn calories to joyful music.

Boxing Yoga blends traditional yoga with boxing, aiming to combine the flexibility and balance of yoga with the power and speed of boxing.



It not only helps keep fit but also enhances inner strength and confidence.



Lita is an instructor in yoga, Pilates, music boxing, and barre from Wuhan. She learned acrobatics at 7 and left the stage at 21. Then, she became a yoga instructor. Lita integrates music, boxing, and yoga to create diverse and engaging classes.

HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training, combines short bursts of intense exercise with brief rest periods. It is favored by many fitness enthusiasts and athletes for its efficient fat-burning effects and significant improvement in cardiovascular function.



HIIT training enhances flexibility, boosts both aerobic and anaerobic capacity, improves blood pressure and cardiovascular function, increases insulin sensitivity, and enhances lipid metabolism.



Bird is not only the first ambassador of lululemon China but also a popular fitness instructor, excelling in running, cycling, kayaking, paddleboarding, SUP, skiing, and surfing. His expertise extends to being the lead coach for the Shanghai Half Marathon and the Shanghai Women's Marathon.

Spinning



Spinning integrates aerobic exercise and music. It combines unique elements like music and visual effects to offer a completely different fitness experience.



With dynamic music rhythms and expert guidance from instructors, spinning achieves high-intensity training effects in a short time. This improves cardiovascular function, enhances muscle strength, and provides the benefits of physical exercise, self-challenge, and stress relief.



On August 24 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, instructors Nick, Queenie, and Chris will take turns leading classes.
