Shanghai Expo Culture Park
Covering 2 million ㎡, the Shanghai Expo Culture Park is the largest riverside park in Shanghai. Since its inception, it has garnered significant attention, especially for its 48-meter-high manmade Twin Hills, which sparked considerable debate at one point.
Back in late 2021, the 850,000 ㎡ northern section of the park opened to the public. This year, the remaining 1.15 million ㎡ in the southern section will fully open.
The 230,000 ㎡ Twin Hills are now nearing completion. Built alongside the water, the Twin Hills feature a landscape design that piles up hills and dredges waterways.
The Twin Hills are surrounded by the lake and the eleven-arch bridge, creating a harmonious landscape.
Across from the lake, the Music Manor offers one of the best views of the Twin Hills.
The expansive lawn is perfect for picnics, camping, and relaxing.
In the future, the park will feature seven themed areas, including Expo Garden, Shen Yuan, Twin Hills, Shanghai Greenhouse Garden, World Floral Garden, Shanghai Grand Opera House, and Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Center.
Currently, Shen Yuan is open. Spanning 50,000 ㎡, it displays the traditional garden styles of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The park also boasts dense flower meadows, adding to its picturesque scenery.
There is also a large lawn for camping, a dog park, and a 16-hectare forest.
In the future, the park will feature over 4,000 parking spots, with more than 1,500 spots inside the Twin Hills, including approximately 300 spots equipped with charging stations.

Costing 2.1 billion RMB, the 48-meter Twin Hills are the tallest man-made mountain with a hollow structure in China and the largest PEC structure in China.

Renovated from the old factory of Shanghai No. 3 Iron and Steel Factory, Shanghai Greenhouse Garden covers about 40,000 ㎡ with five glass houses.
Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Center

Pudong Riverside Greenway
Starting from Yangpu Bridge, Pudong Riverside Greenway passes through Lujiazui, Nanpu Bridge, Shanghai Expo Park, Lupu Bridge, Houtan Park, Qiantan Park, and Xupu Bridge, hugging the river with stunning views along the way.
The dedicated cycling path is well-marked, with rest stops every 1-2 kilometers.
You'll find plenty of cafés along the route, so no worries about refreshments.
Cycling along the riverside, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Riverside Camping

Yaohua Riverside Green Space
Entering through Gate 1, you'll find a hidden paradise. Under the lush dawn redwood trees, flowers, and plants flourish, creating a natural oxygen bar.
There are 200 spots exclusively for camping offer a variety of options, including river views, forest settings, and private areas. Be sure to book in advance.
Qiantan Youcheng Park & Qiantan Leisure Park
Continue south along the riverside to reach Qiantan Youcheng Park, the go-to spot for flower enthusiasts.
The vast lawn in Qiantan Leisure Park is also ideal for camping.

Xupu Bridge - The South Wall
This last stretch is less frequented, ending at the 23km mark, known as the "South Wall".
