NUMATA SOU



After winning two Michelin stars for three consecutive years in Osaka, NUMATA SOU finally debuted outside Japan, landing at BFC.



Two chefs are bringing a unique Shanghainese twist to tempura, using local ingredients and their signature batter for an unforgettable dining experience.

SELECTION BY DU



Amazing Chinese Cuisine has won a Michelin star for seven years. Its new restaurant, SELECTION BY DU, opened in January on the 56th floor of the West Tower at Raffles City The Bund.



The space boasts ceilings over five meters high and is adorned with natural jade. Eight private dining rooms offer unbeatable river views.



The menu is created by founder Du Jianqing. It offers a blend of Teochew flavors and other cuisines, all inspired by a traditional family feast.

NABI & WULI



JEJU, the 10-seat Korean restaurant, has earned a reputation as one of the hardest restaurants to book in Shanghai. Earlier this year, its Korean chef Tom Ryu opened his new restaurant NABI with 16 seats in a villa at WYSH.



NABI offers a set menu with twelve courses that change every three months. The dishes blend traditional Korean flavors with Western cuisine.



WULI on the first floor is more affordable. It serves home-style Korean dishes and Korean cocktails in a cozy atmosphere.

PROMISE



PROMISE, a new Nordic restaurant in Shanghai, is located in the courtyard of the mansion at Donghu Hotel. Chef Jim studied under the world-renowned chef Björn Frantzèn and worked in the three-starred Michelin restaurant Frantzèn in Stockholm. In 2011, he was appointed as the head chef of Frantzén/Lindberg.



Some of the dishes at PROMISE pay homage to Frantzèn, while Jim adds creative twists to classic Nordic flavors.

Yun Lu · Yong Chao Ge



Yong Chao Ge is nestled within Shenyu Lane, one of Shanghai's most well-preserved Shikumen complexes. The design incorporates architectural elements from Southeast Asia, featuring louvered windows, patterned tiles, red velvet furniture, and retro tea tables.



The menu features classic Ningbo dishes, including cold plates, roast meats, soups, and exquisite seafood from the East China Sea.

Hide the Smoked Room is tucked away inside the Blackstone Apartments. The interior blends Eastern aesthetics with Western culture.



The restaurant showcases fresh local ingredients and uses seven fire-based cooking methods, including grilling, searing, braising, smoking, roasting, and more, to create innovative Asian barbecue dishes.

NU XIANG MU DOU



NU XIANG MU DOU was founded in 1900. Recently, it has collaborated with BALENCIAGA.



The newly opened NU XIANG MU DOU is meticulous about its location, environment, and menu. In addition to preserving traditional flavors, it invited one of Asia's 50 best bars to create its drink list.

DEJA VU



Famous for its signature Seafood Wellington, DEJA VU returns to Bund 22 after a four-year hiatus.

BoboLEE's new Thailand restaurant, BoboLEE Thai & Cake, is located in EKA Tianwu.

Goodbai café



Lifestyle brand GOODBAI has opened a new café on Yanqing Road. Patterned mosaic tiles, stone benches surrounded by greenery, and a stunning fountain all create a vacation-like atmosphere.



The café features three signature drinks, each served with a hand-drawn card.

tea'stone (Panlong Tiandi)



Following its Xintiandi location, tea'stone has opened a second Shanghai branch in Panlong Tiandi. Built in the Qing Dynasty, the building was designed in the traditional Jiangnan style with a small patio and a large courtyard.



The café preserves the wooden beam structure of the building and transforms the street-facing brick wall into an elegant courtyard with a glass façade. tea'stone offers a quiet space combining tea and aesthetics.

LE PARLOR



This new retro-style café on Zhongjiang Road exudes European classical charm. Adorned with antique sculptures and vintage furniture, the café feels like a mini-museum.



The owners want every guest to fully enjoy the atmosphere here, so taking portrait photos is not allowed.



In addition, the café plans to host art exhibitions and coffee tasting events, creating a vibrant space where culture and community come together.

Mouthfeel



Recently opened in Pudong, Mouthfeel is a café owned by Zhang Xiaobo, World Aeropress Championship runner-up and founder of the CCC cup. On its first soft opening day, it quickly became a popular destination for coffee enthusiasts.



Mouthfeel uses an eversys machine to pre-grind coffee and infuse it with oxygen. Then, with the world's only Linkbar singletouch brewing technology, it delivers rich and creamy crema through two rounds of compressed air in just six seconds.

Kaiji Teahouse (Columbia Circle)



Kaiji, a modern Chinese teahouse targeting a younger crowd, strikes a perfect balance between modern style and traditional culture.



Prices on the menurange from RMB 22 to RMB 36, offering a selection of traditional teas (hot or cold brew), tea blends, and Chinese snacks.

Blue Bottle Coffee (Columbia Circle)



Blue Bottle Coffee has opened its seventh location in the Chinese mainland in Columbia Circle.



Despite its compact size, the minimalist central bar and white designcreate an airy and open atmosphere.

Tang Suo



Tang Suo, the Chinese dessert brand under Yuangu, has opened its first Shanghai location at Rockbund. It blends Song Dynasty-inspired design with a harmonious mix of culinary and art.



Tang Suo specializes in Chinese-style cakes and gift sets, featuring intricate designs and traditional flavors.

Hong Kong's nodi coffee has opened its first store in the Chinese Mainland in Jing'an Kerry Centre.



Exclusive new drinks like the pistachio caramel latte and sea salt pistachio dirty, paired with scones, will start your day with a burst of energy.

Le Baron



After closing in June 2021, Le Baron, the high-end private club from Paris, has made a grand return to Shanghai.



Now located on Fumin Road, Le Baron is full of familiar elements, bringing back memories for those who once danced the night away under its dazzling lights.

COA Shanghai



Ranked No. 1 on Asia's 50 Best Bars for three consecutive years, COA Hong Kong has relocated its Shanghai location after a four-month closure.

La Fin & Another Side



La Fin on the 6th floor of INS Paradise quickly became a hit with Shanghai's nightlife crowd upon opening.



The design pays homage to the bar from Cowboy Bebop, creating a futuristic interstellar vibe.

La Fin has expanded with a new space called "Another Side". Unlike La Fin, which focuses on Hip Hop, Another Side specializes in House music.

Pony Up



Hidden on Jinxian Road, Pony Up is a rising star in Shanghai's bar scene.



The owner Dre is the former head bartender of The Odd Couple.The bar is divided into two sections. The front bar operates from 1 pm to 9 pm and offers classic cocktails and locally inspired concoctions.



From 6 pm to 2 am, the back bar serves 12 creative cocktails, placing a stronger emphasis on both flavor and ambiance.

Swirl Shanghai



From Tokyo to Shanghai, SG Group introduces its fourth bar, Swirl. It offers eight city-themed wine cocktails.



The food menu is created by Fumio Yonezawa, former sous chef at New York's 2-star Michelin restaurant Jean-Georges.

Regent Shanghai on the Bund



Regent Shanghai on the Bund boasts one of the best locations in Shanghai, perched at the confluence of the Suzhou Creek and the Huangpu River.

Covering an area of approximately 3835 ㎡, Apple Jing'an, the world's second largest Apple Store, grandly opened. 



Apple Jing'an's construction investment alone exceeds 83.4 million RMB, which equates to a cost of nearly 22,000 RMB per square meter. The two-floor sucken space is designed by Foster + Partners, the architectural firm known for seamlessly blending simplicity with local elements.



In addition to Mandarin and Shanghainese, the store offers services in English, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, Malay, and 25 other regional dialects. The only Boardroom for business customers among all Apple Stores in Shanghai is also tucked away here.

Supreme Shanghai



On March 23, Supreme opened its 17th global store and the first flagship store in China on Fumin Road.

ARC'TERYX has opened its largest flagship store in the world at the prime Jing'an Temple location.



The store covers an area of 2,400 ㎡ across four floors. The first floor displays climbing and hiking gear. The second floor blends the charm of Shanghai's Shikumen with Vancouver-inspired elements. The third floor houses the largest ReBIRD in China. The fourth floor features exhibitions.

Yohii Yamamoto



Yohii Yamamoto's first official store in Shanghai opened on February 1 at K11.



The store was designed by the Japanese architecture firm OSO, blending the historical elements of Shanghai's Shikumen-style houses with Yohii Yamamoto's minimalist style.
