Located in Nidau, Switzerland, in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the Zircanal, the Nidau Apartment was carefully renovated by the beef architekti team and designed for a young family in 2023.
Nidau 公寓位于瑞士尼道，坐落在一个宁静且能俯瞰齐尔运河的街区，由 beef architekti 团队精心改造，专为年轻家庭打造，于 2023 年完成翻新设计。
The apartment retains the original, strictly zoned floor plan from the early 1960s. The space is divided into three distinct areas, connected by two unique custom woodworking elements that add visual dynamism and transparency to the interior, allowing each area to retain privacy while maintaining an open aesthetic.
在空间布局上，公寓保留了始建于 60 年代初期的原始、严格分区的平面规划。整个空间被划分为三个明确的区域，通过两个独特的定制木工元素相互连接，为室内增添了视觉活力与通透感，使每个区域既保有隐私性，又兼具开放式美学。
One of the carpentry features is the O-shaped opening in the wall, which allows a view from the entrance hall to the living area, not only visually widening the corridor space, but also serving as a part of the entrance furniture and dining table. Another prominent carpentry element is the door opening that connects the living area to the bedroom area, where the sink is unconventionally placed outside the bathroom, breaking the stereotype of the traditional apartment layout and enhancing the flow between areas.
其中一个木工特色是墙上的 O 形开口，从入口大厅可透过它看到起居区，不仅在视觉上拓宽了走廊空间，还兼具入口家具和餐桌一部分的功能。另一个突出的木工元素是连接起居区与卧室区的门洞，门洞处水槽被非常规地设置在浴室外部，打破了传统公寓布局的定式，增强了区域之间的流动性。
The view framed by these two openings connects the entrance hall with the living room, kitchen and bedroom. Combined with the large glass surfaces and large windows in the kitchen and living room, light can penetrate deep into the interior and seamlessly connect the entire living area with the terrace with a beautiful canal view, creating an open and bright spatial atmosphere.
这两个开口构建起的视野，将入口大厅与客厅、厨房和卧室相连，结合厨房和客厅大面积的玻璃表面与大幅窗户，让光线能够深入室内，并使整个起居区域与能欣赏运河美景的露台无缝衔接，营造出开阔、明亮的空间氛围。
The kitchen occupies a central position in the apartment, and is the intersection of family social and practical functions. The central kitchen island is not only a countertop for cooking, but also a natural gathering place for family and friends. In addition, the kitchen also has a hidden "black kitchen" area that can cleverly store household sundries, which not only meets practical needs but also maintains the overall simplicity, beauty and neatness of the apartment.

In terms of decorative materials and colors, the apartment uses a lot of natural wood and soft neutral tones, with retro pink and light green as embellishments to create a harmonious and pleasant atmosphere. Warm tones and simple lines together create a living environment that is both warm and modern. Unique decorative elements such as X-shaped handles in different rooms and two contrasting horizontal lines cleverly maintain the visual consistency of the design throughout the apartment.
在装饰材料与色彩运用上，公寓大量采用天然木材与柔和的中性色调，搭配复古粉色和淡绿色作为点缀，营造出和谐宜人的氛围。温暖的色调与简洁的线条，共同塑造了一个既温馨又充满现代感的居住环境。不同房间内的 X 形把手以及两条对比色水平线条等独特装饰元素，巧妙地在公寓各处维持了设计的视觉连贯性。
The apartment is also very sophisticated in the selection of lamps and bathroom products. Various well-known brand lamps such as Kreon's adjustable head esprit chandelier and Flexalighting srl's Jos PT6 lamps are selected to provide appropriate lighting for the interior while adding a sense of design. The bathroom uses Levantina's Techalm rock slabs as wall coverings, combined with metal plates and other materials, which ensures durability and beauty.
公寓在灯具与卫浴等产品选择上也十分考究。选用了 Kreon 的可调节头 esprit 吊灯、Flexalighting srl 的 Jos PT6 灯具等多种知名品牌灯具，为室内提供适宜照明的同时，增添了设计感。浴室采用 Levantina 的 Techalm 岩板作为墙面覆材，搭配金属板等材料，既保证了耐用性，又不失美观。
