Located on the 17th floor of Paras quartier in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, Horizon Retreat is a 6,000 square foot private residence designed by Finishia Designs for the fitness-loving Sawhney family. This residence perfectly combines minimalist aesthetics with practical comfort, and every detail reflects the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.

The team faced many challenges during the design process. The project needed to be completed in just six months as a turnkey project. Because the building was high-rise, it was difficult to transport large furniture, which was eventually solved with the help of a hydraulic pulley system. Despite the difficulties, the designer worked closely with the Sawhney family to successfully create a space that is both functional and beautiful.
在设计过程中，团队面临着诸多挑战。项目需在短短六个月内完成设计与施工的交钥匙工程，且因建筑为高层，运输大型家具困难重重，最终借助液压滑轮系统才得以解决。尽管困难重重，设计师与 Sawhney 一家紧密合作，成功打造出兼具功能性与美观性的空间。
From the overall style point of view, Horizon Retreat is based on minimalism, but also incorporates elements of luxury and warmth. Walking into the living room, the high ceilings and spacious windows cleverly balance light and shadow, creating a magnificent sense of space. The exquisite gold decorations on the curved walls complement the ivory sofas and armchairs, forming a smart and warm background. The dazzling crystal chandelier casts a soft light, further enhancing the luxurious atmosphere of the room. The geometric marble floor is matched with a modern coffee table, as well as carefully selected decorative vases, sculptures, etc., making the living room not only suitable for hosting parties, but also an ideal place for family private relaxation.

The bedrooms are equally unique, with custom-made solid wood beds that have been specially treated and intricately carved to add warmth to the simple design. Artwork painted by Mrs. Sawhney adorns the walls, and hand-woven exotic rugs and luxurious chandeliers selected by Mr. Sawhney give each bedroom a unique charm and elegance that reflects the owner’s taste.
卧室的设计同样独具匠心，定制的实木床经过特殊处理，上面精美的雕刻为简约的设计增添了温暖。Sawhney 夫人亲手绘制的艺术品装点着墙壁，Sawhney 先生挑选的手工编织异域地毯和奢华吊灯，让每间卧室都散发着独特的魅力与高雅气息，尽显主人的品味。
