The Taifeng Golf Club Reception Office is located in Changhua County, Taiwan, China. It was designed by Álvaro Siza and Carlos Castanheira and completed in 2014. It won the Taiwan Architecture Award Jury Award in 2021. This building is not only the first work of the golf course renovation project, but also a model of the deep integration of architectural art and site function.
台丰高尔夫俱乐部接待处位于中国台湾彰化县，由阿尔瓦罗・西扎（ÁLVARO SIZA）与卡洛斯・卡斯塔涅拉（CARLOS CASTANHEIRA）携手设计，于 2014 年落成，在 2021 年荣获台湾建筑奖评审团奖。这座建筑不仅是高尔夫球场翻修工程的首秀之作，更是建筑艺术与场地功能深度融合的典范。
From the outside, the reception desk fits perfectly with the surrounding terrain and is built along the slope. On the side of the main passage of the golf course, it shows a four-story tall figure; and at the same level as the golf course green, it naturally transitions to a single floor, cleverly integrated into the landscape without any sense of abruptness. The exterior of the building uses a lot of exposed concrete, and its rough and simple texture forms a sharp contrast with the surrounding lush natural environment, but also coexists harmoniously.
从外部造型看，接待处与周边地形完美契合，顺着斜坡而建。在高尔夫球场的主通道一侧，它展现出四层的挺拔身姿；而在与球场果岭平齐的位置，又自然地过渡为一层，巧妙地融入景观之中，丝毫没有突兀之感。建筑外观大量运用清水混凝土，其粗糙而质朴的质感，与周围葱郁的自然环境形成鲜明对比又和谐共生。
The sharp-edged cutting lines, combined with the carefully designed openings and solid walls, create a rich sense of layering and dynamic beauty under the sunlight, creating a play of light and shadow. The building presents different visual effects when viewed from different angles, exuding a unique charm at all times, attracting people's attention.
棱角分明的切割线条，配合精心设计的开口与实体墙面，在阳光的照耀下，光影交错，赋予建筑丰富的层次感与动态美感。不同角度观赏，建筑呈现出各异的视觉效果，时刻散发着独特的魅力，吸引着人们的目光。
The planning of the building's exterior space is closely linked to the process of golf. A series of spatial sequences unfold in sequence, from players waiting and warming up to the start and end of the game. Each link has a corresponding functional area, which smoothly guides the players' movements. Among them, a unique terrace is particularly eye-catching. The terrace is surrounded by three exposed concrete walls on the outside, and silver tiles are laid on the inside, forming a strong material contrast.
建筑外部空间的规划与高尔夫运动的流程紧密相连。一系列空间序列依次展开，从球员等待、热身，到比赛开始与结束，每个环节都有与之对应的功能区域，流畅地引导着球员的行动轨迹。其中，一处独特的露台格外引人注目。露台由三面清水混凝土墙围合外侧，内侧则铺设银色瓷砖，形成强烈的材质对比。
This place is like a quiet harbor where artistic atmosphere and natural breath blend together, providing people with a moment of rest, allowing people to stop in the busy golf activities and appreciate the surrounding beauty.
这里宛如一处宁静的港湾，艺术氛围与自然气息在此交融，为人们提供了片刻的休憩之所，让人在繁忙的高尔夫活动中得以停下脚步，欣赏周围的美景。
Walking into the building, the perfect combination of space scale, level and function is amazing. The designer skillfully uses light and shadow to create a rich and diverse spatial atmosphere. Some areas have soft light, which is relatively isolated from the hustle and bustle of the stadium, creating a quiet atmosphere suitable for players to rest or communicate between games; while other areas use large-area lighting design to bring outdoor light and scenery into the interior, making the indoor space closely connected with the stadium, enhancing the inclusiveness and interactivity of the space.
走进建筑内部，空间的尺度、层级与功能的完美结合令人赞叹。设计师巧妙地运用光线与阴影，营造出丰富多样的空间氛围。部分区域光线柔和，与球场的喧嚣相对隔绝，营造出宁静的氛围，适合球员在比赛间隙休息或交流；而另一些区域则通过大面积的采光设计，将室外的光线与景色引入室内，使室内空间与球场紧密相连，增强了空间的包容性与互动性。
The interior decoration continues the simple style of the exterior, with exposed concrete walls and ceilings, showing the original texture of the building materials. Simple lines and geometric shapes are used throughout, and the choice of furniture and decoration is also based on practicality and simplicity, without too much decoration, ensuring that the focus of the space is always on the building itself and the natural landscape outside the window.
在内部装饰上，延续了外观的简约风格，清水混凝土的墙面与天花板裸露在外，展现出建筑材料的原始质感。简洁的线条与几何形状贯穿始终，家具与装饰的选择也以实用和简约为主，不做过多的雕琢，确保空间的焦点始终落在建筑本身与窗外的自然景观上。
The reception of Taifeng Golf Club perfectly integrates architectural art, venue function and natural environment through its unique interior and exterior decoration design.
