On October 5, the China-Russia 75th Anniversary Diplomatic Relations Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition opened in Beijing, where a folk artwork from Jincheng, Shanxi, titled Hand-painted Silk Scroll of the 28 Constellations, was exhibited and later collected by the Russian (Beijing) Cultural Center. The scroll, inspired by the painted sculptures from the Yuhuang Temple in Zezhou County, Jincheng, received high praise from art critics for its artistic and cultural value. The sculptures, created by Yuan Dynasty sculptor Liu Yuan, blend Eastern and Western aesthetics, showcasing the pinnacle of Chinese ancient sculpture with great historical, cultural, and artistic significance.
