The 15th Annual Benelux Chamber Gala took place on November 23 at the Langham Hotel in Shanghai. The event, with its captivating theme “Shanghai Legends,” honored the individuals, companies, and stories that have profoundly shaped the Sino-Benelux cooperation over the past decades.
Duan & Duan Law Firm has had the pleasure of becoming a member of the Benelux Chamber this year, and had a table at the event. Attendees included Equity Partners Sophie An and Wu Minping from our Shanghai Tower Office, and Chen Weina from our Hongqiao Office. The gala was a spectacular night of reconnecting with the past while toasting to a bright future ahead. It was a truly unforgettable experience for all participants, both old friends and new.

The event saw more than 150 guests, including two special guests, Erik Versavel and Peter Buytaert, who both served as Chairman during important times in the past decades. With the support of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Belgium in Shanghai, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai, and the Consulate General of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Shanghai, BenCham was able to create an engaging and memorable experience, highlighting the rich history and fostering new connections.
