Preface



能源转化与催化电化学在社会可持续发展中受到前所未有的重视,这得益于其在再生能源系统建设中的卓越地位,包括燃料电池和储能装置等基础能源技术。高效电极材料能驱动特定电化学反应,因为它可以通过改善动力学或提高本征活性来加速反应。众所周知,“结构决定性能”,要使电化学反应在能量转换和催化方面具有优良性能,寻找结构最优的电极材料并揭示结构与性能之间的关系就显得尤为重要。


鉴于电化学在能源转化和催化方面的蓬勃发展,冯立纲和黄明华两位教授特组织“能源转化与催化电化学”专刊,包括1篇短讯、6篇论文和2篇综述,内容涵盖水分解、燃料电池催化、光电化学和电池电极材料等。


在两篇综述中,赵岩教授详细回顾了锂离子电池高压正极材料面临的挑战和改进策略,冯立纲教授对甲醇辅助水裂解制氢反应的最新进展进行了总结和展望,包括电极材料的发展和技术挑战。


匡勤教授等报道了Fe-ZIFs衍生的一维Fe-N-C纳米棒催化剂,该催化剂催化氧反应具有较高的活性和稳定性; 尹诗斌和文欢教授对Pt3Ni和WOx之间的金属载体相互作用进行了氧还原反应优化,其中不饱和WOx引起的电荷重新分配优化了中间体的吸附和活化,从而获得了良好的性能。


武祥教授报道了一种基于共掺杂NiMoO4纳米片的高性能柔性超级电容器,该纳米片具有大表面积和多孔结构。杨东江、赵小亮等通过缺陷石墨烯调控酞菁铜的电子结构,报道了选择性地将CO2还原为甲酸,并对高催化效率和构效关系进行了详细讨论。


范伟强等人研究了Ni-MOF在TiO2上可控修饰的配位状态对光电化学性能的影响,有助于提高Ni-MOF体系的能量转换效率。在碱性电解液产氢方面,杜乘风教授揭示了锚定在Mo2TiC2Tx Mxene上的Ni纳米颗粒对增强析氢能力的催化性能和机理。


尹诗斌教授通过在介孔Mo2N纳米片上锚定NiCo合金纳米颗粒来实现5-羟甲基糠醛电氧化辅助制氢,为双功能催化剂的可持续生产和高附加值产品的开发提供了新思路。

2. Selective CO2-to-formic acid electrochemical conversion by modulating electronic environment of copper phthalocyanine with defective graphene

Defective sites promote the charge redistribution of CuPc, forming electron-rich region around Cu atoms through the electrons transfer from defects to CuPc. The high density of electrons makes the d-band center of Cu atoms close to the Fermi level and then reduces the energy barrier of the *OCHO intermediate, enhancing the HCOOH selectivity during CO2RR.

3. Controllable decoration of Ni-MOF on TiO2: Understanding the role of coordination state on photoelectrochemical performance

TiO2-MOF heterostructure was chosen as the model for understanding the effect of coordination state on PEC water splitting. The rich unsaturated sites contributed to the enhancement of PEC water splitting.

4. Fe–N–C nanostick derived from 1D Fe-ZIFs for electrocatalytic oxygen reduction

A one-dimensional ZIF structure was synthesized to fabricate one-dimensional porous Fe–N–C nanostick via two-step pyrolysis. It exhibits an outstanding ORR activity in alkaline medium and superior stability.

5. NiCo alloy nanoparticles anchored on mesoporous Mo2N nanosheets as efficient catalysts for 5-hydroxymethylfurfural electrooxidation and hydrogen generation

NiCo-Mo2N heterostructure catalyst is fabricated by hydrothermal and calcination method for HMFOR and HER. The intense interaction between NiCo alloy and Mo2N heterointerface regulates the electronic structure of NiCo-Mo2N/NF to facilitate the adsorption/desorption of reaction intermediates, thereby showing good performance for HMFOR-assisted Hproduction.

6. Ni nanoparticles anchoring on vacuum treated Mo2TiC2Tx MXene for enhanced hydrogen evolution activity

In this work, pre-vacuum treatment on Mo2TiC2Tx removes the surficial terminal groups, meanwhile inducing surface oxidation defects, which alters the nucleation and growth of Ni NPs on the surface. Eventually, the hybrid electrocatalyst presents low overpotential and high durability over 75 hours HER in 1 M KOH solution.
