It not only let the Indonesian people appreciate the profound Chinese culture, but also let the people of the two countries personally feel the deep traditional friendship between the two countries.
On October 10, Dr. Gugun Gumilar, Ph.D., head of relevant programs at the Istiqlal Mosque, met with the delegation at the “China Space” built by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia in cooperation with the Istiqlal Mosque.
The space was built by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia in cooperation with the Istiqlal Mosque, with the aim of organizing diverse cultural activities and becoming a place for learning Chinese and experiencing Chinese culture. The Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, together with Istiqlal Mosque and all other relevant cultural institutions in Indonesia, will make the “China Space” an inclusive, shared and open space, and make new contributions to further promote cultural, religious and educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Indonesia.
On the morning of October 11, the relevant persons in charge of the GNI met with the delegation, and the two sides exchanged views on the implementation of the exhibition. Representatives of Chinese organizers expressed sincere gratitude to the Indonesian team, and looked forward to further cooperation in the future.
On the afternoon of the same day, Niu Jinjin, Executive Deputy Director of SACM, attended the reopening ceremony of the National Museum of Indonesia as a special guest, which further consolidated the friendship between the two museums and with the important cultural institutions of Indonesia, and concluded a stronger bond for the future joint promotion of cultural exchanges between the two countries.
This is the fourth station of TECFA after Alexandria, Egypt, Istanbul, Turkey, and Bratislava, Slovakia, and has attracted a large number of local audiences and international tourists at each stop. We hope that this brand activity will become a business card for the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture, and contribute to “Telling Chinese Stories” and “Chinese Cultures Going Out".
TECFA (Jakarta Station) is not only a milestone of cultural exchanges between China and Indonesia, but also a new chapter of cultural exchanges between Shanghai and Jakarta, which is another testimony of the lasting friendship between the two cities.
