东西方雕塑的本质区别就在于“神”与“形”的区别。仅仅看一眼，您就能分辨出是东方雕塑还是西方雕塑。西方注重的是对形的塑造，力求真实反映出事物的本来面貌，故而，我们看到西方雕塑的人物，就跟活人一样栩栩如生，这就是事实，你不用去想太多。而东方雕塑，讲究的是造神，看的时候，需要去思考，去脑补画面。
对于东西方雕塑内容，从历史的长河来看，东方塑造的更多是神佛和神佛故事，西方雕塑的更多是人物和历史事件。从审美的角度来看西方雕塑和东方雕塑，哪个更美呢？从本质上来讲，理念不一样，欣赏角度不一样，就会导致东方人认为东方的美，西方人认为西方的美。而我的观点是：都很美！站在别人的欣赏角度去欣赏，也许会有不一样的体会！

When looking at it, one needs to think and use their brain to fill the picture.From the perspective of the long river of history, the Eastern sculpture focuses more on the stories of gods and Buddhas, while the Western sculpture focuses more on characters and historical events. From an aesthetic perspective, which is more beautiful between Western sculpture and Eastern sculpture? Essentially, different ideas and perspectives of appreciation can lead Easterners to perceive the beauty of the East and Westerners to perceive the beauty of the West. And my opinion is: they are all very beautiful! Standing from the perspective of others to appreciate, you may have a different experience!
