朱塞佩·鲁梅里奥（Giuseppe Rumerio）是世界上伟大的动物雕塑家之一，14岁时起就以一名木雕学徒工开始了他的木雕生涯，一直坚持用传统的方式进行纯手工木雕创作，现已经有超过30年的经验，每一个收藏家都想得到他亲工签名的木雕作品。
对于朱塞佩·鲁梅里奥来说，木雕作品最重要的方面是手工雕刻的真实性。他说：“现在的木头雕刻作品已经没有多少人像我这样还是坚持手工雕刻了。因为雕塑也可以用雕刻机，使得原本复杂的艺术工作变成了一个工业生产工作。”
朱塞佩·鲁梅里奥的大部分作品都是动物题材，他十分注重木雕的细节处理和雕刻质量，为了展现最自然的感觉，他经常会观察动物的生活状态，他的作品充分显示出他驾驭木雕艺术的能力和炉火纯青的雕刻技艺。

He started his career as a woodcarver apprentice when he was 14 years old. He has always insisted on the traditional way of pure hand-made woodcarving. Now he has more than 30 years of experience. Every collector wants to get his own signed woodcarving works.
For Giuseppe rummerio, the most important aspect of wood carving is the authenticity of hand carving. "There are not many people who insist on carving by hand like me," he said. Because sculpture can also use carving machine, making the original complex art work into an industrial production work. "
Most of his works are animal themes. He attaches great importance to the detail processing and carving quality of wood carving. In order to show the most natural feeling, he often observes the living conditions of animals. His works fully demonstrate his ability to control the wood carving art and his excellent carving skills.

Various exhibitions with other sculptors in Tarvisio, Florence , Monaco, and Regensburg.
