中国国际工艺创新博览会·论坛
中国国际工艺创新博览会（REVELATIONS CHINA），不仅将在北京呈现来自16 个国家与地区的126 位参展艺术家和 550 余件（套）工艺创新作品，也致力于通过论坛的方式，打造一个知识共享的平台，促进国内外、行业内外围绕当代手工艺展开讨论。
REVELATIONS CHINA will present over 550 pieces (sets) of artworks from 126 participating artists across 16 countries and regions. In addition, REVELATIONS CHINA is dedicated to fostering a public platform for knowledge sharing through its RC TALK, which aims to enhance dialogue on contemporary crafts, spanning both domestic and international perspectives as well as various industries.
2024年9月20日—9月23日之间，博览会将组织12场主题论坛，邀请来自法国、阿布扎比、日本、厄瓜多尔、格鲁吉亚等11个国家和地区的24位外方嘉宾，以及30位中方嘉宾参与其中。这些来自各国政府、行业协会、艺术院校、知名品牌的嘉宾们将围绕行业发展、品牌跨界、国际收藏、艺术教育、未来制造、材料创新等主题展开对话。
From September 20th to 23rd, 2024, REVELATIONS CHINA will host 12 themed talks featuring 24 international speakers from 11 countries and regions, including France, Abu Dhabi, Japan, Ecuador, and Georgia, along with 30 Chinese speakers. Representing governments, industry associations, art academies, and renowned brands, these experts will delve into discussions on industry trends, collaborative ventures, global collections, art pedagogy, advanced manufacturing, and material innovation.

匠心是手工艺的灵魂，艺术教育在培养匠心精神方面发挥着重要作用。匠心是什么？是对传统技艺的深刻理解、对细节极致打磨的工作态度，还是其它基于技艺之上更广泛的价值思考？艺术教育又该如何培养匠心？高校和行业组织在其中扮演着怎样的角色？这些问题值得探讨。
Art education plays a crucial role in cultivating the spirit of craftsmanship. What exactly is the spirit of craftsmanship? Is it the profound understanding of traditional crafts, the ultimate pursuit of refining details, or other broader reflection on crafts values beyond skills? How could art education effectively cultivate the spirit of craftsmanship? What roles do schools and industry organizations play in this process? These questions are worth more discussion.

蒂埃里·普朗特-杜贝是一位多领域的文化管理者，他在古典音乐、节日、旅游、当代舞蹈和私立教育等多个领域有着丰富的工作经验。七年多来，他一直担任加拿大魁北克省艺术与工艺中心（Maison des métiers d’art de Québec，MMAQ）和魁北克细木工研究所（Institut québécois d’ébénisterie，IQE）的首席执行官，这两个机构提供手工艺领域的高级培训。自2023年起，他还领导着材料研究中心，这是唯一一个由国家资助支持当代手工艺创作的中心。他也是国家手工艺培训计划（Plan National de Formation des Métiers d'Art, PNFMA）协调委员会的主席。
Thierry Plante-Dubé is an eclectic cultural manager who has worked in classical music, festivals, tourism, contemporary dance, and private education. For over 7 years, he has been the CEO of the Maison des métiers d'art de Québec (MMAQ)and the Institut québécois d'ébénisterie (IQE), offering advanced training in fine crafts. Since 2023, he has also led the Centre Materia, the only state-funded center supporting contemporary fine crafts creation. He is a member of SODEC and chairs the coordination committee of the National Training Plan in Fine Crafts (PNFMA).

一位工艺美术领域具有实验精神的艺术家、研究者和策展人，现任清华大学美术学院党委副书记，工艺美术系副教授，中国工艺美术协会金属艺术专业委员会副主任委员兼秘书长。他执着于探索新造物技术与传统造物手段之间的协同关系，并不断深入挖掘这种协同关系背后所隐含的审美情趣、叙事风格及伦理价值。他的作品曾被中国国家博物馆、中国工艺美术馆收藏。
Wang Xiaoxin is an experimental artist, researcher, and curator in the field of craftsmanship, and he is currently the associate professor of the Department of Arts and Crafts, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, as well as the Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Metal Arts Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Association. He is committed to exploring synergies between new techniques and traditional means of making things and continues to explore the aesthetic sensibilities, narrative styles, and ethical values that lie behind this synergy. His artworks have been collected by top museums, such as the National Museum of China and the China Traditional Culture Museum.
