About this event
Benefit
Attendees will gain a very detailed insight into what the new Carbon Border Adjust Mechanism (CBAM) of the European Union is about. You will learn what CBAM really means for companies who export from China and bring their products into the EU, and gain an insight into what exactly needs to be done internally to prepare. The aim is for the participant to be able to assess the CBAM consequences and requirements.
Target Group
Company owners, managing directors, production managers and export department employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in China, which export products to Europe.
Course Concept
This course focuses on understanding how CBAM works and what is the impact on production companies in China. The aim is to understand to what extend and when your specific company is affected. After a comprehensive overview we will present individual cases. During the training we will will work out specific internal processes to respond to the requirements of CBAM, such as CO2 calculations and reporting obligations. In addition the course will guide you through employee training plans and address CBAM-related supply-chain management. There will be time for participants to share individual situation and discuss Q&A. Our instructors are experienced Chinese environmental experts originating from automotive industry.
