学术写作分析
Dr. Achebe
This week, we are going to discuss companies‘ policies for promotion, companies tend to value different things and set different criteria for determining who deserves a promotion.Criteria for promotion may include employees’ performance and achievements in their current roles, seniority within the company, years of experience in the field, or even leadership potential. In today's post, l would like you to discuss which criteria for promotion you see as the most important and explain why.
同学一:
I believe seniority should be the most important criterion for promotion. Rewarding employees who have been with the company for a long time shows that the company values loyalty and dedication. Long-term employees often have a deep understanding of the company's culture and processes, which can be invaluable.
同学二:
I think job performance should be the top criterion for promotions. Rewarding employees for their skills and achievements pushes them to excel in their roles. When people see that their hard work and dedication are recognized, they're motivated to take the next step in their careers.
2. “员工升职最看重”,对于一个公司来说,主要是看哪个对公司的贡献最大,付出最多。
参考范文 :
Echoing …’s perspective, I believe that a company should prioritize an employee’s performance over tenure when considering promotions. This view is rooted in the fact that work performance directly reflects an individual’s contributions to the company and their ability to garner respect among colleagues.(总观点和分论点)
For instance, a Human Resources (HR) manager who successfully recruits highly qualified individuals demonstrates deep insights into the company’s operational needs and a sharp acumen for navigating the volatile job market—qualities essential for leading the HR department. Similarly, a product manager who successfully launches a product that appeal to the target market during an economic downturn clearly shows potential for higher leadership roles, possibly even as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), by consistently steering the company in the right direction.(举例)
While some may argue that extensive work experience is a solid indicator of an employee’s reliability and expertise, suggesting suitability for promotion, it’s important to recognize that long work years only represent the past, not the future. Given today’s fluctuating market, it is more sensible to place greater emphasis on employees who have demonstrated their capabilities at work.(对比)
In conclusion, were I to set the criteria for job promotions, I would place greater emphasis on an individual’s job performance rather than the length of service.(总结) (205)
