英语从“能读到能写小作文”咋就这么难

最近我的耳朵被一个问题磨破了

我家孩子都能自己阅读了

但怎么就是写不来?

读了的词感觉都不会用,

不是拼写有问题,就是用得乱七八糟

语法和逻辑更加是“粉粉碎”

救了个大命~~~~~~


把英语独立阅读这座大山夷为平地的爸爸妈妈们,好不容易才看到了点曙光,就被写作打回了原形;孩子们才建立起的英语信心,写两篇作文就被消耗殆尽了兴趣;甚至还有很多人在这一刻发出了“原版阅读娃英文不过了了”“原版阅读无用”“停止原版阅读吧”的标题党。所以,真的是阅读无用/孩子无用/家长无用吗?今天,我想聊的话题很简单,英语阅读和英语写作之间绝不是“一年级读完就可以升二年级的”关系。

我发现,中国孩子的阅读都从娃娃抓起,这有助于孩子们从小就习惯并享受阅读。在这个过程中,孩子们的阅读意愿逐步增强,可以通过反复阅读训练,提升阅读能力。然而,对写作的重视就不及阅读开始得那么早。这就造成了孩子在读写水平上造成了差距。为了缩小这一差距,让读写可以齐头并进,及早地开始书写训练是很有必要的。可以从写句子开始,从阅读中回答一些问题,从故事中提炼有趣的话题为题展开写作。从句子过渡到段落再到成文,从写短故事着手再到长故事的叙述,直到日后可以驾驭写论文,写作的过程是搭配阅读的难度,循序渐进地推进。


I find that a lot of focus is given to reading from a very early age which helps children to become comfortable with and enjoy reading. This creates a willingness to read more and by repeating and practicing the reading level improves and develops. However, the same emphasis is not given to writing until quite a bit later which then creates a gap in the reading and writing level of the child. In order to bridge that gap and create a more uniform level of development for both reading and writing, it is important for children to get some sort of writing practice along with the reading from the very start. This can be in the form of simple comprehension questions, allowing them to write a few sentences about any part of the book they enjoyed, giving specific topics to write about, giving them a creative prompt to write about, a short story, introducing a detailed story structure and having them write long stories etc. The complexity of the writing task needs to match the level of reading of the student, increasing in difficulty and or length slowly but steadily along with reading level to allow students to easily transition their writing from one sentence, to a paragraph, to a page, short stories, then longer stories, all the way to writing essays.

提升写作能力的最好的方法不外乎常常练习。

写日记或记随笔的方式可以帮助孩子们随时记录下他们的想法。思路和想法会随着勤练笔而愈加清晰。词汇量,拼写和语法也在不断的写作练习中得以累积。尝试不同的语法结构,让孩子们有机会把丰富的想象力跃然纸上。

另一种提高写作的方法是写书评,记录下自己对所读书籍、人物或场景的看法。


The best way to develop writing is to practice regularly.

Some ways in which students may practice this skill is to keep a diary or journal to record their thoughts and ideas. The more they write, the clearer their thoughts and ideas will become. They will also get an opportunity through writing to practice new words they have learned through reading, they will improve their spelling and grammar, try out different sentence structures, and get a chance to stretch their creativity.

Another way to improve writing is to write their opinion about the book, character, or setting they have read.
