本实验室专攻数字与智能农业,重点关注遥感 (proximal and remote sensing)、光学传感 (optical sensors)、机器人和自动化系统 (robotics and automation systems)、物联网 (Internet-of-Things)、人工智能 (Artificial Intelligence) 和机理模型 (process-based models)。入学时间2025年秋季 (8-9月)。

基本要求
• 获得农业和生物工程、生物系统工程、计算机科学、机械/电气工程或其他相关领域的硕士学位 (Qualified applicants must have earned a master’s degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Biological Systems or Biosystems Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or other related fields) 。
• 满足曼尼托巴大学研究生院的最低入学要求和英语水平要求 (Meet the minimum admission and English language proficiency requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies: https://umanitoba.ca/graduate-studies/graduate-student-admissions/requirements) 。
• 具有自主、上进、乐于合作等优良品质 The ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated and willing to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment。
有以下经验者优先:
• 具备 Python、R、Matlab、C++ 等编程技能。
• 机器和深度学习 (Machine and deep learning) 。
• 机理模型建模 (辐射传输模型、作物生长模型) (Process-based modeling, e.g., radiative transfer model, crop growth model)。

03 导师简介
I am an assistant professor at the Department of Biosystems Engineering, University of Manitoba, Canada. My research expertise spans multiple disciplines, including agricultural engineering, data science, and plant science. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained rich research experience in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), ground and proximal plant phenotyping tools, multi-modal data (RGB, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, and LiDAR) processing, data-driven machine learning and deep learning models, as well as physics-driven radiative transfer models.
