9月20日，美中贸易全国委员会联合中国农业农村部对外经济合作中心，于四川省成都市联合举办智慧农业发展与产业合作研讨会，围绕农业技术创新、气候型智慧农业等时下重点议题，探讨扩大中美合作的前景和方向。会议强调了农业对两国贸易及关系的稳定器作用，并邀请中美企业家和学者交流技术创新成果，向更高效的供给、更可持续的发展携手迈进。
此次对话共邀请中美两国政府、企业及专家学者百余位，其中包括凯斯纽荷兰工业集团中国区总裁李康, 维先农业科技执行主席王宏, 也有来自霍尼韦尔、 新希望乳业、丰农控股、漫云物联等中美企业的高管代表。美国大豆出口协会、美国谷物协会在内的美国农业行业组织，农业农村部农业生态与资源保护总站、农业农村部沼气科学研究所、四川农业大学、四川农科院等科研机构和智库专家亦出席交流。
会上，许子兰副会长发言并介绍克雷格·艾伦（Craig Allen）会长视频致辞。今年年初，委员会于美国华盛顿接待中国农业农村部代表团一行，见证中美农业联委会在九年后重启，并组织会员企业同中方圆桌交流美国农业及食品企业同中国合作的关键议题。委员会将持续致力为双方交流、增进互信搭建平台。
美国驻华大使馆公使衔农业参赞罗勃特·汉森（Robert Hanson）表示，发展气候智慧型农业、推动技术创新，既是环境迫切的需求，也是经济发展的机遇。本次对话不仅加强中美农业部门间的联系，也帮助与会企业、行业组织和研究机构增进关系。美中两国作为世界上最主要的农业生产国和消费国，必须携手合作、共同创新，实现粮食安全和可持续发展的目标。美国华盛顿州副州长赫克（Denny Heck）、成都市领导、中国农业农村部对外经济合作中心领导也发表致辞。

对话环节，中美两国企业及专家学者会议围绕“创新技术驱动高效率供给”，“绿色方案助力可持续转型”两项议题展开讨论，分享在甲烷减排、循环经济的创新方向和合作前景，以及生产种植、土地管理和运输物流等领域的技术成果与智慧方案。

来自四川、河北、上海、江西、山东、广东、海南等地农业农村部门也出席了本次活动。

On September 20, the US-China Business Council (USCBC), in collaboration with the Foreign Economic Cooperation Center (FECC) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), co-hosted the US-China Intelligent Agriculture Dialogue in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This event focused on key current topics such as agricultural innovation and climate-smart agriculture and explored prospects and pathways for expanding cooperation and collaboration. Conference participants stressed the stabilizing role of agriculture in bilateral trade and relations, and encouraged US and Chinese entrepreneurs and scholars to exchange on technological achievements to pursue more efficient supply and sustainable development.
The dialogue attracted over 100 attendees from the governments, businesses, and academic institutions of both the US and China, which included Li Kang, China President of Case New Holland Industrial Group, Stone Wang, Executive Chairman of Agrovision, and senior executives from US and Chinese companies such as Honeywell, New Hope Dairy, Shenzhen FN Holdings, and Guangdong Mancloud IoT Technology. US agricultural industry associations such as the US Soybean Export Council and the US Grains Council, as well as scholars and experts from research institutions and think tanks also joined the dialogue, including the Rural Energy and Environment Agency and the Biogas Institute of MARA, Sichuan Agricultural University, and the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
USCBC Vice President Melinda Xu delivered remarks and introduced virtual remarks from President Craig Allen. Earlier this year, USCBC welcomed a MARA delegation to Washington, DC and witnessed the encouraging resumption of the US-China Joint Committee on Cooperation in Agriculture (JCCA) after a nine-year hiatus. During the visit, USCBC also organized a roundtable for US businesses with the Chinese delegation where they discussed key issues related to agricultural and food cooperation. USCBC remains committed to providing platforms for exchanges and strengthening mutual trust.
Robert Hanson, Minister Counselor for Agricultural Affairs at the US Embassy in China, noted that developing climate-smart agriculture and promoting technological innovation are not only urgent environmental needs but also opportunities for economic development. This dialogue not only strengthens the ties between the agricultural departments of both countries but also helps participating companies, industry organizations, and research institutions enhance their relationships. As the world's leading agricultural producers and consumers, the US and China must work together and innovate to achieve food security and sustainable development. Lieutenant Governor of Washington State Denny Heck, along with leaders from the Chengdu Municipal Government and the FECC of MARA, also delivered remarks.

During the dialogue session, representatives from US and Chinese companies, as well as experts and scholars, discussed two key topics: "innovations driving intelligent agriculture" and "green solutions to support the sustainable transformation". Panelists shared innovative approaches and opportunities for cooperation in methane reduction, the circular economy, and smart solutions in areas such as crop cultivation, land management, transportation and logistics.

Local agricultural and rural affairs departments from Sichuan, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Shandong, Guangdong, and Hainan Province also attended the event.
