10月21-22日，美中贸易全国委员会受邀出席了 “国家发展改革委与美在华跨国企业高层圆桌会——重庆站” 系列活动，包括跨国企业高层圆桌会、与重庆市政府闭门座谈会、产业对接会和实地调研等多项重要议程。该圆桌会机制由国家发展改革委于2021年发起，旨在为美资在华企业搭建一个了解中国政策、促进政企交流和企业合作对接的平台。委员会作为机制创立的重要支持方，多次协助邀请会员公司随团参与各项议程。
On October 21-22, USCBC was invited to participate in a roundtable program with US multinational companies, organized by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in Chongqing. The program included a roundtable, a closed-door meeting with the Chongqing municipal government, a business matchmaking meeting, and site visits in Chongqing.
The roundtable mechanism, initiated by NDRC in 2021, aims to promote communication between US multinational companies and the Chinese government, helping companies better understand China's policies and business environment. As a proud contributor to the roundtable initiatives, USCBC assisted in inviting member companies to various programs on many occasions.
在圆桌会议中，国家发展改革委副主任郑备，重庆市委常委、市政府常务副市长陈新武出席活动并致辞。来自国家发展改革委综合司、外资司、基础司、环资司、国际司、国合中心以及重庆市相关部门的负责人围绕一揽子增量政策、对外开放、大规模设备更新等一系列政策进行了解读，并对与会代表提出的疑问和关注给予了回应。
During the roundtable, NDRC Vice Chair Zheng Bei and Chongqing Executive Vice Mayor Chen Xinwu delivered speeches, while officials from NDRC’s General Affairs Department, Foreign Investment Department, Basic Industries Department, Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection Department, International Cooperation Department, and International Cooperation Center and Chongqing presented their policy interpretations on economic stimulus packages, market liberalization measures, and large-scale equipment renewals, addressing questions from participants.
张莉沛副会长代表委员会就相关关切发言，包括：公平竞争审查机制下对企优惠政策的落实、政府采购中“国产产品”定义、中美在绿色低碳领域的合作机遇等。委员会今年先后在美中两地与国家发改委及相关部门一同就循环经济领域的中美合作举办相关活动，期待与国家发展改革委在政策助力循环经济议题上保持沟通，推动两国工商界实现更多务实合作成果。
USCBC Vice President Zhang Lipei raised concerns of the US business community regarding the implementation of existing preferential policies under the fair competition review, the definition of "domestic products" in government procurement, and opportunities for US-China cooperation in green and low-carbon initiatives. This year, USCBC organized several events on US-China circular economy cooperation in both countries, with support from the NDRC and other relevant departments. Looking forward, USCBC will continue discussions with NDRC on supporting policies for the development of the circular economy and promoting practical bilateral cooperation in this field.
在重庆期间，委员会还应邀参加了圆桌会重要嘉宾与重庆市委书记袁家军，市委副书记、市长胡衡华的会见。
During the visit, USCBC also participated in a closed-door meeting with Chongqing Party Secretary Yuan Jiajun and Chongqing Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Hu Henghua.
此次重庆站圆桌会活动邀请了60余家在华商会和跨国公司的近百位代表出席。
Nearly 100 representatives from over 60 organizations attended the roundtable program in Chongqing.
