Our client, a gobal hotel chain is currently looking for Senior Manager- Technical Service.
Location: Guangzhou/Shenzhen Preferred
Reports to: Head of Technical Services
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Development & Renovation:
Lead and manage hotel design, refurbishment, and takeover projects, including greenfield developments.
Assist the development team with feasibility studies, site visits, due diligence, and assessments of building laws and regulations.
Ensure adherence to brand standards and design specifications across projects.
Oversee all aspects of hotel development/renovation, such as architecture, interior design, MEP, structural engineering, QS, and procurement, ensuring compliance with relevant building laws and securing necessary Authority approvals.
Coordinate the design and delivery of new hotel openings, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting brand quality standards.
Project Management:
Develop and maintain project schedules, review construction documents, and track progress to ensure milestones are met.
Approve and provide feedback on architectural and construction drawings, collaborating with architects, interior designers, and consultants.
Establish strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, including property owners and other department heads.\
Lead the cyclical capital refurbishment and replacement programs for operating hotels, ensuring proper maintenance and renovation.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Support coordination with governmental agencies to secure necessary licenses and permits.
Provide guidance to hotel owners and franchisees on maintaining compliance with brand design standards.
Cost & Quality Control:
Participate in the review of contracts for new developments and renovations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
Monitor project costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and optimizing cost efficiency.
Experience:
Proven experience in hotel renovation and project management, ideally with exposure to both Project Management and QS functions.
Experience managing hotel design, refurbishment, and development projects
Skills:
Solid technical knowledge of hotel construction, design, and refurbishment, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
