We are seeking a seasoned General Manager with a strong F&B background for the pre-opening of a prestigious hotel in Dalian.
The property is housed in a historic building that the owner, aims to develop into a cultural icon.
The ideal candidate should be an expatriate fluent in Mandarin, with extensive experience in luxury hotels and a proven track record in pre-opening, especially with F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the pre-opening phase, working closely with the ownership and brand teams.
F&B Focus: Lead high-end restaurant operations, ensuring world-class dining experiences that align with the Fairmont brand and project vision.
Operational Management: Post-opening, manage the hotel’s day-to-day operations to ensure luxury service standards and financial goals are met.
Team Building: Recruit, train, and lead a professional hospitality team, ensuring high guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Brand Positioning: Shape the hotel's identity as a cultural landmark and premier luxury destination in Dalian.
Qualifications:
Expatriate fluent in Mandarin (Chinese Speaking).
Minimum 8+ years of experience as a General Manager in luxury hotels, with a focus on F&B operations
.Proven experience in pre-opening and working with historic properties.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
