A report by UNESCO, OECD and the Commonwealth Secretariat published in June 2024 entitled "The price of inaction: The global private, fiscal and social costs of children and youth not learning" puts the cost to the global economy of children lacking basic skills at US$10 trillion a year by 2030. Another finding from this study is that, despite efforts made by different countries, the number of out-of-school children remains high, with 128 million boys and 122 million girls excluded from school.©️该文章及图片版权归联合国教科文《信使》杂志所有
