Our client, a leading listed Chinese company with a strong global presence, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Antitrust/Competition Law to join the company, based in Shanghai. This role focuses on supporting the company’s antitrust and competition legal functions, including merger filings and compliance with both domestic and international competition regulations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and managing merger control filings for domestic and international transactions.
Provide legal advice on antitrust and competition law compliance.
Support investigations and communications with regulatory authorities.
Monitor changes in antitrust laws and regulations globally and assess their impact on business operations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel on competition-related matters.
Requirements:
LL.B. from a top-tier law school in China or overseas; an LL.M. is a plus.
5+ years of experience in antitrust/competition law at a leading law firm or multinational corporation.
Strong understanding of Chinese and international antitrust regulations.
Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
