Our client, a leading listed company in China, is seeking a Global M&A Head based in Shanghai. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for managing and driving the company’s global mergers and acquisitions activities. The position will report directly to the Global General Counsel.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all global M&A activities, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
Work closely with the global executive team to identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities that align with corporate strategy.
Provide legal advice and support throughout the entire M&A process, from due diligence to post-merger integration.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
Collaborate with external advisors, internal stakeholders, and business units to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A, with significant experience in global transactions.
Strong background in corporate law, with a proven track record in handling complex M&A deals.
Leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand business strategy.
