The Central Meteorological Observatory forecasts that starting on the 15th, a strong cold front moving eastward and southward will bring a new round of widespread precipitation to central and eastern regions, along with a drop in temperatures and strong winds. From November 15 to 18, temperatures in most of central and eastern China are expected to drop by 6 to 10°C, with some areas experiencing drops exceeding 12°C.

According to meteorological monitoring, on November 13, light to moderate snow or sleet occurred in northern Xinjiang, with heavy to severe snowfall locally in Altay and Tacheng. Moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in parts of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Henan, and Anhui. The Central Meteorological Observatory forecasts that starting on the 14th, a strong cold front will move from west to east, impacting most parts of China. On the 14th, this cold front will bring temperature drops of 6 to 10°C to central and northern Xinjiang, with local drops exceeding 12°C, along with strong winds. Northern and western Xinjiang will see light to moderate snow or sleet, with heavy snow and even severe snowstorms in parts of Altay and Tacheng. From the 15th to the 18th, as the cold front continues moving east and south, temperatures across most of central and eastern China are expected to drop by 6 to 10°C, with some areas exceeding 12°C. The 0°C temperature line will push south to areas in southern North China and southeastern Northwest China. During this period of cold-front-driven precipitation, areas in eastern Northwest China, western and northern North China, and northeastern regions will see a transition from rain to snow, with some areas in Northeast China experiencing snowstorms. Light to moderate rain, with heavy rain locally, will occur in regions like the Huang-Huai, Jiang-Huai, and Jiang-Han areas.

Before the cold front moves southward, central and eastern regions remain relatively warm as of the 13th. This warmth will continue on the 14th and 15th, with high temperatures generally reaching above 25°C in central and eastern China. In parts of Guangxi, Guangdong, Hainan, and Fujian, temperatures will exceed 30°C. Meteorological experts note that this upcoming strong cold front, which will affect most of northern China, has a wide impact area and a significant temperature drop. In the coming week, rainfall in eastern Northwest China, North China, and the Huang-Huai region will be more frequent, with precipitation amounts significantly above the seasonal average.
