The Hetao Public ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System and Public Information Service Platform were officially unveiled on Thursday, marking a significant stride for the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone (HTCZ) in establishing a global wisdom-gathering technology cooperation platform.

He voiced hope for enhanced collaboration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong to further drive technological innovation.Yu Jie, deputy director-general of the Hetao Development Authority, stated that the introduction of the Hetao Public ERP System and Public Information Service Platform is a pivotal move for the Shenzhen Park towards internationalization, digitalization, and intelligent management.This initiative is also a proactive measure in implementing the General Administration of Customs’ measures for supporting the comprehensive deepening of reform and opening-up in the Shenzhen Park of the HTCZ, according to Yu.Yu Jie speaks at the platform unveiling event.Last September, the General Administration of Customs issued the measures to support the the comprehensive deepening of reform and opening-up in the Shenzhen Park of the HTCZ.These measures proposed support for the integration of ERP and other information management systems between scientific research institutions and enterprises with customs networking, aiming to streamline regulatory work through ERP-compatible information management methods.The Hetao Public ERP System, grounded in government cloud infrastructure, integrates multiple key processes including finance, human resources, supply chain, production, and approval, all while ensuring robust information security.It boasts five core functions: process, project, warehousing, inventory, and customs management, and is freely available to research institutions and enterprises within the park.Looking ahead, the system’s networking connection with the customs management platform will cater to the business needs of enterprises and institutions for the convenient import and export of scientific research materials, enhancing operational management efficiency. Customs supervision will become more efficient and precise.Currently, the Hetao Public ERP system has successfully exchanged data with the administrative channel management system of the Futian Bonded Zone. Six enterprises, including CCTEG Robot Technology Co. Ltd., have been piloting the use of the system.Chen Song, public affairs manager of CCTEG Robot Technology Co. Ltd., said in an interview that the system significantly simplifies the customs entry and exit process of scientific research equipment, significantly improves the efficiency of logistics traffic, and greatly helps the development of the Hetao embodied intelligent robot pilot testing platform.The Hetao Public Information Service Platform encompasses four core systems — Hetao Public ERP, Administrative Channel Management, Cross-Border Bus Reservation, and No.1 Channel Car Management, all accessible via the “iHetao” WeChat miniprogram.
